Newgy Robo-Pong 1040+ Table Tennis Robot

This ping Lang robot works very stable. I bought the machine because of the pandemic and it looks like it is a vey great investment. My kids will play for a while everyday with it, and it is very easy to setup and to configure the functions. While it is for sure for the beginners, it is not that advanced and no spinning function.

Expensive but huge fun and workout! Would buy it again. Had to make slight adjustment with the match between the robot and plastic container as balls were Jambing. Wing nuts Should be larger and matching these two parts could be perfected to prevent jambs.

I love this machine! I got it to replace an iPong V300 my son bought for my birthday. The iPong did not work well but it got me hooked on daily practice. The Newgy Robo-Pong is a well-designed, sturdy machine that's packed elegantly with detailed and easy-to-follow instructions. It has many features for players of all levels and it works well. If you store it under the table It takes just a few seconds to set up and take down. The Newgy makes practice fun and improvement likely.

Excellent packaging, and so far, functions well. I am pleased with its performance! I gave it four stars because I found one issue: The large ball basket has an extra securement hook on the opposite side which interferes with its mounting. This securement hook had to be clipped off in order for the basket to be able to slide on and mount properly. I wouldn't return it because of this, but this is an annoyance which should have been addressed by the factory. Addendum: Robot comes with 48 "Newgy Robo-Balls", these balls have very rough texture; when mixed with other balls the machine will frequently jam. It jammed so hard that I had to take it apart and completely clear the ball feeder. And, yes, I did clean these balls prior to use per the manuals instructions. My recommendation is to use the Kevenz balls, which are sold by Amazon, they seem to work very well in this machine. Addendum 2: I need to walk my previous addendum back. After doing some experimenting, I found that this robot is sensitive to ball frequency; if the ball frequency is on the first setting (1), the balls jam frequently and the alarm keeps going off. However, if the throw frequency is turned up to 2 or higher, the robot never jams no matter what kind of ball is being used, even with the rough textured Newgy Robo-Balls. It appears that the ball feed mechanism just needs to move a little faster so the balls can move past each other quicker; this appears to reduce much of the friction.
