Great value, quality and quantity!
The pellets are the perfect size if you are starting seeds especially for beginners. They expand so much and are extremely easy to work with. I was surprised by how much starting mix I had after using half of the box of pellets. I expanded about 25 pellets in a dish so that I could add other ingredients to the mixture and I had more than enough to get started. I allowed the leftover mix to dry out completely stored it in a ziplock bag and used it for my second round of seeds. The coco coir was so light and airy after it expanded and my seeds loved it. Iโm a beginner gardener and this product was so easy to waork with that I felt like a pro! Donโt hesitate to buy this one!

Works great!
I just reconstituted a few of these in water and filled my seed trays. Used a heating pad underneath and within a week, I have happy, healthy peppers and citrus growing.

Perfect size!
Wonderful product! 1 pellet is perfect size for content of one growing cell. I found 5 pellets was perfect size for my number 4 grow pots. Just dribble a bit of water at a time on the pellet, enough for it to expand. Don't drop 1 in an entire cup of water or it will not dilute properly, that's where any negative dirt content comments comes from, these are perfectly proportioned, economical, easy to use, just drop in cell, and watch for plant growth. I love this as a growing medium, no waste, and everything seems to be growing just fine.

Excited to use these coco coir pellets!
These are really nice! Excited to use and see how the plants like the dirt. Expanded quickly with hot water. Should have used just warm water. Had to guess on how much water to use. I just slowly added water until I felt like the pellets were completely expanded and fluffed the dirt with a fork. Really should come with some kind of instructions on how much water needs to be used for the different pellet sizes. I bought the 50pcs/50m pellets. But over all I really like these coco coir pellets!

A good value
Very happy with these. I purchased them to grow cat grass for my cat as well as microgreens indoors. They are use to use and last for awhile.

Inconsistent quality and difficult to manage moisture
I really wanted to love these coco coir pellets because of the great price for a 200-pack, but I have been struggling with them. Pros: They are very compact, so storage is easy. They expand quickly when placed in warm water. Cons: Netting restriction: The mesh netting around the pellets is quite thick and durable. While it holds the soil in, I noticed that the roots of my seedlings had a hard time breaking through during transplant, leading to stunted growth. Moisture inconsistency: The pellets dry out extremely fast on the top, but stay soaking wet at the bottom. This makes it really hard to keep seeds consistently moist without risking mold or damping-off. Low Quality Coir: Several of my pellets did not expand fully or became dense, fibrous "sludge" rather than the fluffy soil described. Overall, I had a low germination rate with these compared to using a traditional seed starting mix. For the hassle of managing them, I probably wouldn't buy them again.
