Great Earbuds!
I'm a fan of these earbuds. They have a similar shape to the ones that came with my iphone 8 and when I look at them, the size seems similar, but when I put them in my ear, they feel smaller. They don't fill up my ears as much. At first, I was a little concerned that that might cause things to not sound as good, but everything sounds fine to me with these on. I don't know what people mean when they talk about how well you can hear bass, so I can't comment on that, but I'm satisfied with how things sound with these. Most importantly, they feel very comfortable for me to wear. One thing to note is that they feel cold whenever you first put them in. This doesn't bother me at all, but it's something to be aware of. The braided wire is fantastic, and I don't feel worried that they'll break anytime soon. However, I prefer when the wire connection to the audio port has a 90 degree angle. I mostly use my headphones with my laptop, and I always plug it in as pictured. With the 90 degree angle of my old headphones, I wouldn't have to worry about my wire bending right near the audio port, but with these ones, my wires is always slightly bent right there. I'm not sure how to get the microphone to work, but the audio control on these headphones is a slider, which is new and kind of cool to me. However, I would prefer if they just had buttons to increase or decrease the volume instead, because it's hard to slide the bar precisely to where you want it. I usually just keep the bar at max and adjust the volume with my laptop. Sliding the bar all the way down does mute the noise. The magnets in the earbuds are also nice. I can't confirm it, but it feels like it helps against tangling. Finally, the headphones also came with a small pouch and a pair of silicone covers with hooks for the earbuds. The covers are thin (not sure if that's a good or bad thing), and they weren't comfortable for me, but luckily, I don't feel that I need any covers to go with these. The pouch is nicely made, but it's hard for me to fit the earbuds in the pouch. I usually just put them in a small compartment in my backpack instead. Overall, I'm glad I made this purchase, and I'd recommend other people to try these out too.

Most comfortable earbuds ever!
Finally writing a review after 3 years of usage. These are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever owned and have great sound quality. The one pair I had for the past 3 years finally had feedback and distortion sounds which usually signals failing earbuds. Ordered 3 pairs this time because I like these so much and hope to keep using them.

As good as it gets!
Let's face it, unless an earbud is jammed into your ear canal airtight you'll never get the amount of bass you might get with bookshelf speakers or overpriced $200 Apple buds. Unfortunately my ear canals are too small for in ear buds so these work fine once I lowered my expectations. I have some foam covers from my old Apple earbud days so these fit snugly, comfortably and the degree of detail and soundstage quality of sound is so much better than my ancient Apple buds. I can hear details of music tracks I've never heard before. The cables are really nicely woven so they don't kink and knot. Being wired is not a disadvantage for me as I don't have to worry about losing one bud. The buds seem well shaped to simply rest inside the outer portion of your ear as opposed to being jammed inside the canals. But because of this, no room-shaking bass is possible. At 20 bucks this purchase is a no-brainer and soon to be Xmas stocking stuffers for friends and family.

best bass comfort to ears
First there is a trick with the 2 little ear places put them on first the the 2 peaces that has a tip on the end of it put them on over the 2 little ear places that will keep the ear places o tight with out moving or comming off the ear buds you get 2 sets in a can I am going to tell you this is the best ear buds to me the sound is better then DR Dre head phones better then Bose I own both I love the sound quality I have put these ear buds to the maximum test with a 10 bar equalizer sound system to see if the speaker would bust these passed the test but my ears did not the bass was so clear and hit really hard I went from 2 oms to 80 oms and went as loud as I could with out killing my head or ears volume at 70% up out of 100% each bass hits and vibrations hits loud and clear and the ear buds still works great they never busted just my ears is ringing from deep bass hits sounds better then car systems I ever heard in my life with out rattling noises like vehicles do I would buy these again if I had to

Perfect for what I need.
Well, it finally happened; I lost my Apple earbuds (non-wireless). Which is halfway a blessing in disguise, because they were falling apart, and one of the buds stopped working, and I needed to get a new pair anyway. I'm glad I got these. 1) The material is really beautiful—slick, tough but luxurious-feeling. These aren't going to get tangled in the same way the Apple ones did, because the Apple ones had this kind of velvety-but-sticky texture that made them a huge pain to untangle. And then, even while you were untangling them, you had to be worried about ripping the soft silicone covering on the cords. Not with these! 2) Also, unlike the old ones, these aren't going to get gray/yellow over time. 3) ALSO, in contrast to the Apple ones, these one's aren't going to degrade and flake apart because they're made of a sturdy fiber instead of the silicone. 4) The sound quality is beautiful. Crisp and clear. 5) Personally, I think the cord is a nice length, a tiny bit longer than the Apple ones. That's a matter of preference of course. I haven't yet used the microphone, so I don't know how well that works, yet. I'll update the review later when I figure it out.

similar to apple. worse lifetime
I decided to try "knockoff" versions of the earpods. My earpods were routinely breaking in a variety of ways (broken mic, decreasing volume in one or both buds, etc.). And that's not to mention that I would always try ordering some from Amazon for convenience (and because they're cheaper online) just to return them immediately because they were clearly used and/or broken. Inevitably I would drive to the store when I could and buy new ones instead. A couple things I like: -The "grippy" bits. I use an external usb sound card on my desktop so I can actually use 4 pole headphones with it, but the 3.5mm port is quite tight. Obviously yanking on the cord itself is not a good idea for any wires but it was always really hard to get a good enough grip on the plastic bit at the end to pull the Apple ones out. These Ludos Specta ones have a sort of knurled surface which makes it way easier to grip and pull them out. -I like the metal tin they came in. Reusable. Friendly packaging. Apple's packaging is very obviously not meant to be reused (such as for storage/travel) by comparison. -They seem to be pretty much on par with Apple's version audio-wise (+ mic). Maybe even a smidge better? -The covers. To be clear I hate those rubber-tips normally. Apple earpod style headphones are the only in-ear headphones that feel comfortable to me. However, it doesn't hurt to offer options to people. You can cut off the parts you don't like (such as the little external bit), or in my case, I basically just cut it to be like a sleeve (cut off the tips and the long bit) for the earbuds. This made them a bit grippier and larger, which fits my ears better sometimes. -Black. Hides small imperfections that inevitably appear over time. Things I don't like: -The volume controller doesn't communicate with your device to change the volume, it just alters the output on the headphones which is weird. I feel like it'd be easy to mistake them for being broken if you saw your device wasn't muted but your headphones appear to be. I guess it kind of makes sense since it's a slider (not sure how you'd get fine volume control with a slider if it did communicate with the device). -Not really sure what the button under the volume slider does, it doesn't work for me. -The wire has a texture that seems to be intended to give the illusion of being braided, when it isn't. I would rather have a braided cable. -The mesh covers in the earbuds slip out. It's gross. -Didn't even last me a full year I'm updating my review because I bought them less than a year ago and the right earbud has blown. For a while, they have been finnicky in general. The mic went out a little while ago as well. I'm trying to contact Ludos for the warranty, but I honestly don't expect it to work out.

Headset needs improvements
Sound diminishes as they get older and rubber ear pads wear out quickly and start falling off. Decent but needs improvements

Great for small ears!
I chose these earbuds primarly due to their cost, high-reviews and the fact that they are wired. I expected the same cheap sort of product made overseas with no flair to them or anything for them to stand out. When I opened the box to find the little handwritten note along with several small accessories and a little fabric carry bag, I was pleasantly surprised and first impressions are high! After using them for a few hours each day over the course of about a month I can say that this was money well spent; the value is quite high considering the cost and quality of materials used. The wire has a textured pattern and feels sort of like rubber which I'm sure makes it more durable to withstand the frequent bends and loops that wired earbuds often see. The 3.5mm jack, the shroud around it, and the volume/mute control parts all appear to be machined aluminum, with a glossy black coating and knurled middles for easier grip. The buds themselves are also made from an aluminum body, with plastic caps (I think), but the finish quality is high. The audio sounds great, to my ears. The fit is exactly like older iPhone earbuds, in the generation prior to having those little rubber tips, where they just sit comfortably in your ear. There is a magnet on the rear of each bud allowing you to link them together for storage, which is a nice touch. All-in-all, great product and I definitely recommend them.

Worth paying the extra - excellent headphones
For the money these headphones are exceptional. I have spent similar money before (around £15), however these look to be a cut above the average. The lead looks robust and a bit longer than average. The headphones are a comfortable fit even without the optional foam covers. I tend to use headphones for listening to an MP3 player and the sound is clear across all ranges. They come with a nice little tin plus a carry bag. The headphones have a magnetic tab on the back to enable them to stick together to avoid tangling. I think the model I purchased is an older one as it has a 3.5 jack plug. This suits me fine as my phone still has this facility which is becoming a rarity these days. all in all - very pleased with the purchase = the 5 year guarantee is an added bonus.

コスパGood!
