Been using this discman for a few days now. Good battery back up (make sure you charge it fully before first use). Sound quality is awesome with equaliser options. What I like the most is the memory playback of the player. I can resume from where I left off, which is not the case with the other CD players. The headphones provided are good but not to my liking, I will be using my Sennheiser headphones ; fortime being I have connected the player to my Bose speaker using aux cable. (The player does not have bluetooth option). Overall - The discman is worth every penny spent.

27 de enero de 2024. Hablo (para que no haya confusiones) del modelo negro con los botones en la tapa en forma de triángulo y un círculo central de vidrio. Estoy escuchando ahora mismo un CD en él. Muy buena calidad de sonido, sorprendentemente nítido para el precio del aparato (y yo tuve discmans Sony y Panasonic, sé cuando un discman tiene buen sonido; también tuve un discman con sonido horrible y otro con sonido… aceptable). ¿El problema de los discman, de cualquier discman? Las caídas. Si se les cae una vez, tal vez se salve, pero si se les cae más veces, olvídense, dejará de funcionar. Y seamos sinceros: ¿A quién no se le ha caído el teléfono alguna vez? A todos se nos ha caído alguna vez. Pues con los discman ocurre lo mismo: todos los discman que tuve dejaron de funcionar por caídas. Por eso les recomiendo que introduzcan el CD, den a “play”, bloqueen las teclas con “hold”, lo introduzcan en la funda (muy buen detalle de KLIM, además es dura), cierren la cremallera y dejen solo salida para el cable de los auriculares y así, si se les cae (y se les caerá) cabe la posibilidad de que siga funcionando. Tiene indicador de carga: una lucecita que pasa de rojo a verde, como Dios manda. Y un dibujo de una pila vacía que aparece cuando está a punto de quedarse sin batería. Trae auriculares y un cable de doble clavija que no se me ocurre para que sirve (¡Ah! Sí, para el coche. Yo no lo utilizo). LO QUE NO TRAE y dice que sí, es cable con entrada USB-C. Lo tuve que comprar. Iba a quitarle una estrella por ese detalle, pero la funda me ha ganado. Cinco estrellas para KLIM. Si surgiese algún problema, corregiría esta reseña. De momento, digo muy buen producto. No se lo piense si quiere un discman. Cómprelo. P.S. 31 de mayo de 2026. Casi dos años y medio después he comprado otra unidad exactamente igual. El primero me ha caído tantas veces que le cuesta comenzar a leer los CDs, pero los lee. Sigue funcionando gracias a la funda y lo voy a seguir utilizando hasta que deje de funcionar. He comprado otro igual porque me parece muy bueno y para estar prevenido. Saludos.

Having an extensive CD collection and listening to music on a high- res digital audio player, I thought I would go back to the days of listening to a CD direct with the liner notes, etc. to hand. However, my now adult children had borrowed my CD players in the 90s and I had a to get a new one. I selected the Klim player (from the extensive range available on Amazon) and am really glad I did. A look at their web site shows that the owners are keen to deliver quality equipment at a reasonable price, and hence I chose that player. It arrived in record time, well packaged, with good instructions and with all the necessary bits and pieces. While the in-ear buds look good quality, I don't like to listen to music this way and prefer on-ear headphones instead. I therefore listened to a collection of remastered early Elton John albums using a wired Sony WH-1000XM4, but while the mid and high notes were excellent the bass was a bit boomy. However, when I changed to a Bowes & Wilkins P5 the full range of sound was present and of excellent crisp quality, and this was confirmed on listening to a range of other music. Overall, this is a really great little player and represents excellent value. It just needs to be paired with the right phones depending on what the individual user prefers. Highly recommended.
