Never done this before. These were easy. They plugged straight into the socket (mine didn't need the adapter that is included) and when I turned the power on all was great. Works fantastic with the dimmer too.I used these in a remodel, with a new dimmer switch and newly installed can lights fixtures.Got the job done for a good price. I'm stoked.

After trying a few different models of LED replacement fixtures, this is the one that I like the best. There’s lots of great features that make this a good choice for updating older fixtures around the house.First, it really is a drop-in upgrade. The unit comes with an E27 male base that can simply be screwed into the existing light bulb socket, and Bob’s your uncle. There are two spring clips that hold the light fixture securely in the ceiling, and each are adjustable so you can get a really good fit easily.The light is fairly bright – I’m measuring about 4000 Lux at 12” from the lamp. I can’t measure the color temp, but it appears to be in the 5000k range from what I can see. The light has a bright, soft cast that is excellent for indoor use.While I did receive one of these lights for a slight discount, I’ll be buying several more at full price to replace the remaining light fixtures in my house. Another nice feature – if you are a renter, is that these are removable as easily as they are to install.Nice product, good price, what more could you ask for?!

This is a good light and easy to install. I give it a three star because the E26 base was not included. I will update my review once I hear back from the company and when they send a replacement. The light has good color at 5000K. It is not yellow at all and has a good white/blue to it. I really like it. It also has good brightness at 850 lumens. I wish the lighting angle was greater, cause it is only 92 degrees but it will do the job for what I need it for. It is rated for a wet location which is why I bought it. I needed it for my shower. I did receive a discount for my review, but might buy additional ones, I also want to test it on a dimmer, which I havent done yet. I did test it using a base that I had from a different LED light, but can't really use it without the base.

I love this product. I love the output of light and I love how well it works. It fits into our kitchen ceiling real well and it works like a charm. We have four retrofits in our kitchen and so far I have used four different brands of retrofits in there. The only thing that I wish was better are the springs. They have a hard time gripping the metal bowl and if you don't fiddle with them to get them just right then they keep sliding down. Yet the output of light and the quality beats this simple issue. Over all, I am really pleased with it and I would buy this again. Great price too.I love that you can use these even without a metal whole. I also just love the fact that every time I turn the light on in the kitchen, it is really bright, needless to say it has nicely stayed in it place without any issues. recommend this product.

I have been in the process of updating my lighting throughout my house for the past year. The last on the line of lights were the overhead can style lights. The BATEC LED lights have been a great choice in my opinion. They look good and function just as well. They were very easy to install and I didn't have any issues at all.

I appreciated the quality of the units. They look good and give us the added light we needed and look forward savings led lamps will return. Thank you.
