If we need a access we always use these
I'm a contractor. We always use this if we need to install a access hatch. Ya it's little costly but after we are done installation it's beautiful. Also has anti slam opening option. Safe even to install in ceiling.

Good product, I just failed to realize it requires 24" +x 36"+.... I am used to everything being made for standard spacing.. ie 24 o/c which means 22 1/2" clear

HINGE FAIL
The small pivots are not welded in so they fall out. Not terribly well made. If you're in a pinch, they're just ok. Look for the other hinge option where it slides into place.
