Winco 2-Piece Constructed Stainless Steel Ladle, 32-Ounce

WOW when someone wrote that said 'the size of a newborn's head', they where not joking. The handle is long (recommend you get a coated upper handle)........but this size it is easier to serve one deep bowl of soup, etc. This is well made and easy. This will do the job for what I want it for. I want to make soup, chili, spaghetti in freezer type 32 oz containers. Perfect. Recommend.

Well made ladle. The material is sturdy and thick enough for the purpose I intend to use it for and worth the price.

I use these in decoction mashing. Works great and saves so much time.

I make a large pot of chili AND crockpot at the same time. I use glass ANCHOR bowls to store them in the freezer. 32oz is the ONE & DONE scoop of choice where I don't have to waste time or effort scooping with the dollar store common variety. It's quite COMICAL to behold in person, as it will never fit in any utensil drawer. Almost the size of a baby's HELMET?! People complain about the tig welded handle, but unless your using it every single day, scooping gold or lead, its a non issue as people LOVE to complain under the term F.U.D. (Fear, Uncertainly, Doubt). I'd rather enjoy sharing my cooking, and sense of efficiency, over getting hit by lighting! LOL!!

I keep this by a container that collects rainwater. I use the ladle to water nearby drought distressed plants.

Good quality, but only one ladle arrived out of the 2-piece. Others have had the same problem.

so far it does it job but wish it was one piece instead of welding the handle to it

Got the 32oz/944ml (largest size currently available) for $19.27 with free shipping and consider it good value. Will now fill most bowls of soup or stew in 1 scoop probably only a partially full scoop at that! It's 2 pieces joined together as stated. Makes me worry a little about long term durability as I had a pot handle with this type of join (heat stamped but not welded) fail after about 10 years hard use. To make 5 stars I think I'd like full 1L capacity, measuring markers in bowl, pour spouts and a bit heavier solid 1 piece construction specially on larger models. It doesn't have any of that but what it does have is good and utilitarian for the price. Funny how all the smaller ones are currently more expensive though, Amazon pricing seems pretty wonky sometimes!
