The top is nano carbon material which is uniformly painted on aluminum foil and will not get rid of the black layer in cold or hot, weatherproof, long lasting painting to anti scratch-off, converts heat energy into infrared-radio frequency by high thermal radiation efficiency of carbon atom to transfer heat dissipation efficiency; the middle layer is aluminum foil and the 3rd layer is pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive.
- PRODUCT FEATURE: High thermal conductivity(w/m-k 400-2500), thermal radiation (1000-6000) and flexibility; Supreme performance on resistance of flame, vapor, moisture, ultraviolet (UV), weather, cold, heat, oil, smoke and etc with acrylic coated adhesive. LLPT Nano Carbon Aluminum Foil stays high stability and strength for long life support, great efficiency on cooling and heating with operational temperature from -30°C to 260°C. Works 10 times better than traditional graphite sheet.

**Q: Can I use this at the very end of a car exhaut that only get's at most, 150 F ?**
A: I don't see any reason you could not use it in that low of heat, I wrapped all my pellet stove joints with this and it is holding well

A: This stuff works like aluminum foil wrapped in a tape.

**Q: Insulation vs conduction: does this tape conduct heat or insulate it? description mentions "conductive" properties. any insulation properties?**
A: I serious doubt it has any insulation properties, you could use to tape air duct but the wood stove pipe I tape up , got extremely hot and that fell off. I probably should have wrapped more time but it's metal tape it will absorb whatever temp it's around
