Microgreens Growing Kit - Self-Watering Tray with US Premium Seeds

I love the packaging as it came very neat and gift set ready. The self watering micro greens set came with a link for an instructional video which I find quite handy. The seeds in this kit are very viable and sprout very easily. Make sure that you soak the seeds a few hours or even overnight to help out with germination. Keep the dark cover on top for about three days. Try not to peek. I know you may be anxious. But after three days, you will be able to take the top off and you will see your sprouts. At first, I started mine under a grow light but then I found a perfect place in front of my bedroom window, where the sunshine came in with just a little adjustment of my blinds. Within a couple of more days I had beautiful micro greens. Make sure that you harvest them in enough time because the mats last just long enough for them to create luscious beautiful greens and because they are so crowded together you don’t want to miss the cut off and have them wilt over. It’s a great value for your money and makes a great gift. It is very beginner friendly as well here.

Easy to follow instructions, well-made materials and it was fun! I was a little concerned at first when I removed the black felt cover after three days and the germinated sprouts were a yellow color with odd white roots. I was afraid it was mold, but the instructions said it was root hairs and no need to worry. Once the felt cover was removed, the sprouts turned green in just one day. After six days, I harvested my little crop of beautiful green sprouts. They tasted good too. This would be a great gift for kids and also for adults. Update - I successfully grew a second and third batch of greens but then I stopped for about a month. I think the seeds might have gotten stale during that time, because after 10 days the most recent batch barely germinated. I have them under a growing light, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ll wait a few more days before tossing them out.

I cannot write enough words to express how much I love this! I’ve grown a new batch of brocolli microgreens every week since purchasing this over four months ago. I purchased extra mats and seeds. It’s SUPER easy to grow and the only thing I can add that isn’t in the instructions or video is this - once I take the black cover off (I wait 72 hours) I set it near a window that gets really good morning light. I turn the tray every day so that the greens do not grow in only one direction. They REACH for the sun! This kit is what you need to get started and once you get the hang of growing and harvesting, it is so easy and to do.

Worked exactly as expected, and the greens were great! These were easy to grow and had good value for the money. I only wish there was a bit more variety - I would have loved a sunflower greens option!

This is an excellent product. It's quick, clean, easy, & grows abundant microgreens in a compact space. I followed the instruction booklet exactly & my microgreens were doing wonderfully until I woke up on day 7 to find them wilted & drooping over the edge of the tray. I felt the hemp mat & it was dry. I immediately added 2 cups of water & within an hour many of the greens were reviving. Within 24 hours all the greens had revived & I harvested them. The instruction booklet says that there is no need to add more water after the initial watering. In my case that certainly wasn't correct. That is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. The humidity in peoples' homes varies widely, & I truly believe the instruction booklet needs to inform customers to check the hemp pad for dampness at about day 5-6. Doing so would have relieved me of a lot of anxiety. That being said, it's a great system & I've already ordered a 2nd kit. I'll just set a reminder from now on to check the water level at day 5 or 6.

Perfect for a starter kit. The sprouts have a wonderful earthy taste, accents any sandwich, omlet ect. Also makes a beautiful eatible garnish for all your roasting, grilling adventures. I use it as a salad for homeopathic health aid. l

One seed packet was half open letting many of the seeds out. Haven’t used they growing kit yet.

Marked safe from the diarrhea lettuce using this kit! This is the most used item in my home, I love having fresh greens ready to go whenever I need them! Usually I can get one set to last 2 weeks by watering it again. Its easy, healthy and delicious! The size is perfect for the kitchen counter or a small grow light shelf. The cost is perfect- some people may say its not really saving money compared to buying at the store, but honestly the kit is durable, there is a huge variety of microgreen seeds to choose from, and is easy to grow so its totally worth it to me. Also knowing my food is clean and grown in my home!
