Hidden gem of a story
I threw on some lofi and went to town on this book. Not really expecting too much bc it’s not well known but it was so good. Immediately bought the 2nd one which I’m halfway through now. About to order the third one in a couple days. This author is underrated

Another solid Oniisanbomber
Oniisanbomber isn't a perfect writer. There's some rough edges to the writing. But also plenty of potential. I've read all of it and enjoyed it, so when I saw a new Oniisanbomber I dove in and read it in a sitting. What I like about Oniisanbomber stuff is the themes and the clear desire to say something. The salaryman and JK bit is a way to explore the contrast of adolences and adulthood. If you change out JK for somebody more age appropriate, it's much more difficult to draw that contrast of youthful hope and the jaded cynicism that comes with early adulthood. The improvement in writing is mostly a matter of polish. Sometimes the writing can repeat itself and restate things that don't need to be said again. Knowing how to bring up a point without sounding repetitious would serve the writing well. At one point I remember going "this seems like a summary of the past episode, but it's the middle of the story, this isn't necessary". It called attention to the writing in a negative way. But thankfully, that's not something that happens often.Oniisanbomber is at their best when they have something to say or make an observation about development between characters. At those moment, the writing comes across as effortless and rewarding. Despite the characters not being particularly unique, they consistently do well with making them feel relatable and interesting (not just this book).Plot is certainly something that could use some polish/improvement. Without bring up anything specific and having spoilers, the plot beats can be a bit cliché and predictable. Sometimes it was necessary to further the character development and backstory, but sometimes it felt forced/unnecessary. Fortunately, again, Oniisanbomber never does it enough to derail things.Overall, another good work. I see plenty of potential in them as a writer. Things like plot beats and writing style can be improved. Making good characters and having something to say about life/the world that isn't pretentious or condescending is much more difficult, but that is where the writing is at its best.

Good romcom book
I’m currently half way through reading this, and I enjoy the writing, and the romantic drama and details about the characters throughout.I’ve only got a couple gripes tho, it is fairly large for a light novel, physically. And it seems that the pdf version of this book was used for print versions. This makes sense to me, but the table of contents appears to be full of hyperlinks which is a little jarring. Also it seems that the books are printed on demand. As the back of book indicates that the book was printed within 1 day of my order on Amazon.Overall good read, I do wish for some clarification on how these books are printed, I don’t want to feel like I’m getting a pdf printed on behalf, even if truly that’s all it is.

Interesting and beautifully written
Enjoyed the story from cover to cover. The illustrations are cute as well. The characters feel alive, and their flaws make them relatable.Maybe it's a cultural thing, and maybe they're only joking, but it's weird hearing them say the male is 'old / middle aged', when he's only 26. I mean, maybe a JK would think that way, but I have a hard time believing a 26-year-old would. Minor thing, really. The conversations are amusing and so far the plot has been believable and interesting.

Even The Apocalypse Can't Stop A Budding Romance
So I'm sick, its 1am and I decided that now would be the best time to write a review for I Met You After the End of the World. How could I not though, as a fan of Oniisanbomber-san (heh) and their Soapland Girl series (if you haven't read it you should). The premise is simple, the world ended, and just about everyone died. Except Yamada Daisuke, who despite being free from his adult grind, has no idea what the future will bring him in this new world. Surprise! Enter one Fujiwara Sayaka, a bouncy (in various ways), and energetic JK with a gun and always something to say. Their characters are simple, but that makes them easier to relate to and there are some twists and turns in there that will catch you off guard.Something to look forward to is watching these two slowly but surely come closer together, see them make choices, see the consequences of their actions, and live in a world of just the two of them. Some would say that the age differences would make this immoral, and I say there is more to love than just smashing bodies together. You can see this through both their eyes as we move through the story.I enjoyed reading this and regret I cannot read it again for the first time. I was smiling at their antics, concerned when they ran into trouble, and overall exciting to see where they go next. I'm hoping I don't have to wait long for a Volume 2.

I had bought this because i was board of reading manga. I was not really expecting anything from it because im not a big short novel reader. But this book really had me hooked. I had purchased the other volume as well, and when it ended i was very disappointed BECAUSE THE 3 THIRD VOLUME AS NOT OUT YET. I am looking forward for the 3 third volume. Definitely recommend.

You may think it's a manga, but it's a light novel filled with words and beautiful illustrations.
I really liked this product. Because this is the first book in English that I've read as a light novel with a drawn character on the front and back cover with beautiful illustrations. I knew I just had to get this book, I saved up, it took about 3 months because I had other things I needed to buy and pay for, but i got it. And i really appreciate its content. The book is a little mature but it's a great reading for anyone out there. Who would like a great reading and a book of knowledge to read, write, or post about? This is it!

Fluent and enjoyable
The book is pretty huge and the story is not intrinsic (as i usually like) even if it's a post apocalyptic world, but if it's going to be a second volume i hope for a turning point
