Portland Pet Food Company Fresh, Human Grade Dog Food Topper & Meal 8 Pack

This dog food was beloved by my senior papillon when I could not tempt him with anything else. It kept him eating for several years after he became super picky in old age. He passed at 17. We have recently rescued a precious, much larger young dog who was hungry, but would not touch the Science Diet she was getting at the shelter. In fact, she barked at it and buried it under her food mat! So I turned once again to this Portland and mixed it with the Science Diet and she has eaten it with gusto ever since. I recommend this food to everyone who has a pooch necause our puppers should enjoy their food like we humans do! It is well packaged, smells great, and only through Amazon have I found these packages with all the flavors. Our girl loves them all. You can heat them briefly in thw package in the microwave and the thicker ones mix better. My girl is about 48 lbs and I mix one third of the package with her dry food. For my little papillon, a single package would last as a mixer for days. It is not cheap and it's very rich, so I like it best as mixer with whatever dry food or other type of food you use. Great stuff!

My little 5lb, 14 year old pup was having a bit of a hard time eating her favorite dry food because of her teeth so I checked into this and it arrived less than 24hrs after ordering. Suffice to say by the photo, are loved out & gobbled it down in minutes the quality is amazing and get fresh and there's a lot of it. It's very notational and natural so I live that for her and that are just loves it, is a bonus for me. We found me girl's favorite food and I'm happy to see her eat so much!

Love this topper! This is the only way I can get my picky little Yorkie to eat her dry food. There are only a few ingredients in packet, and they're all recognizable and not full of filler and random animal parts that a human wouldn't even consider eating.

Love these! You can tell the ingredients are really great quality, I have a picky dachshund that will go on food strikes and he has eaten every one of these, he loves the taste and variety and even begs for more, I like how they are human grade and healthy to a degree- I think for older dogs they’d be perfect cuz they’re high in calorie but for every meal it’s best mixed with the other food. The amount you get is great for the price. They’re good 5 days in the fridge after opened so I break one pouch into 5 days and it works great. About 1/4 cup each day.

My doggo loves this food and she’s a picky eater. The variety keeps her from getting bored. I use it is a topper for her dry food. It has quality ingredients My only wish is the packaging was different. It is not resealable like a lot of other cheaper priced wet foods. The food gets everywhere after opening and it would be awesome if it was able to be resealed. Thank you

Have purchased this product several times. My dog likes it and I like that you are able to buy either single or variety packs. The price seems reasonable for human grade dog food.

My dogs loved the food except on 7/30/26 one of my dogs started throwing up multiple times and was very lethargic so i took him to the emergency vet where they told me he had pancreatitis… my babies are 5 years old he was perfectly fine before and now he doesn’t want to play at all barley wants to move and i’ve been thinking and thinking trying to see what could have possibly caused this. I know you can’t really pin point what caused it but after reading some reviews which i should’ve done first before buying i realized that other people’s pets has had the same exact experience. I definitely do NOT recommend this food, my poor baby is suffering in pain bc of this food and on top of that they are very expensive and plus the vet bill that was over 2,000$….

It fixed my dogs pickiness as a mix in over kibble and I can see the ingredients, so it seems fresh and human grade... I'm glad he is eatting and it should last 18 days -HOWEVER, I'm weary of the useage of brown rice. The Brown rice seems to be harsh to my dogs digestion as I'm seeing it speckled in my dog's stool. I don't think dogs should have so much rice, not so much that I see it come out the other end. And even if they can eat brown rice and it has SOME benifits, I think it's horrible that it's passing through the way it is.

The food seems very good in terms of ingredients but my 4m old puppy got ill when she tried the chicken meal. She vomited and started a diaria with blood on the stool. I will wait a while until i consider again
