Good for making heater elements if you are handy and have the tools.
Not a lot to say, I bought this to DIY a replacement heater coil for a metal melting furnace. The resulting element works as expected, and the product is as described. It’s pretty stiff - I wound the coil on a small benchtop lathe and it took some doing getting it neatly wound. This is a good value if you have the tools to work with it. A 100’ roll cost $42 shipped. This is enough to make three or four 1500 watt elements which cost about $85 each if you were to buy them from the manufacturer of the furnace. The wire is identical to that used by the manufacturer.

You pay more for this product but you get longer life and a reliable product for your kiln.

Just what I wanted
This was just what I wanted. I had ordered from Temco before so I wasn't sure about this supplier but the product was the same. I'd definitely order from Wireoptim again.

The wire I received was three times more resistive than stated and created oxide layers that flaked off.
