Bought as a gift for someone who likes bonsai trees but has never owned one. The price is good for what you get. It is a good starter tree that if you manage to kill it off is not too expensive to lose. It looks and feels like a proper bonsai and hopefully we'll be able to keep it alive for some years to come. The parcel was delivered by Hermes who aren't really that good at tracking but it was delivered within the suggested timescales. The tree is very well packaged in bubble wrap and then boxed with all gaps filled with biodegradable chips (just put them into sink of water and they dissolve). Mine did not come with a tray under the pot and I don't know if this is an oversight or on purpose. The display picture does show a tray under the pot. Other than the tray I'm very happy with the purchase.

Excellent packing, excellent condition wnen unpacked (in spite of two days waiting in post office). Immediate watering by immersing the pot. Surprisingly small - but they are Bonsai. :-). Nice blue ceramic pot and base. I bought two pairs - four Christmas gifts for three daughters and one sister in-law for their home offices. All delighted. Good care instructions, including detailed instructions for different types. However, only described as "Bonsai" - so maybe they are Chinese Elms maybe not. Only downside - Post Office delivery. P.O. would not leave in porch safe place in spite of the big sign on front door mat "due to type of delivery" So I had to collect them, no customer spaces at Sutton P.O. - and I received a parking fine for my troubles :-|(

Plant arrived in grate condition in protective Packaging. Considering it had been in a box for a few days I was suprised to see it look so lively when first opened. Bought for a secret santa present but will be getting my own from here too would recommend. :) Also comes with a care guide.

The tree was probably very good originally but unfortunately the carrier, Hermes, took a week to deliver it after they received it. Consequently when the tree arrived it wasn't as good as it could be.

Packaged incredibly well. A little dry, needs abit of TLC. Hopefully it will be fine. Very reasonably prices. Wish there were 'care' information included.

This Bonsai tree arrived earlier than expected. It came well packaged & arrived in great condition. It is fairly well established. It arrived on 29/12/22. I have watered it every two days as instructed & I have new growth on it. Fingers crossed I can keep it alive. I received a very informative instruction leaflet with it with YouTube links for care & pruning. If you’re not confident when it comes to repotting, there are websites links to Seikatus Bonsai School & Nursery for Skype or FaceTime for one to one lessons on Care etc. (Paid lessons I assume). You can contact them via email for any questions you might have. I’m really pleased with my purchase & would highly recommend if anyone is thinking of buying a bonsai tree

This said it was an elm, it was in fact a podocarpus, badly wired to the point it was cutting into branches. If you're looking for a nice bonsai, don't get this one. I'm looking after it just because I don't want to send it back for it to be treated badly
