How far apart.the the slats?

The open space between my slats is precisely 2.4 inches and the width of each slat is precisely 2.8 inches. There are 14 slats on my board, and an open space of 3.2 inches between the last slat on each end and the frame. The frame bars are precisely 0.7 inches wide. Overall length is 14x2.8 + 13x2.4 + 2x3.2 + 2x0.7 = 78.2 inches

Will this fit inside of a bed frame? Would like to replace my slats with this.

Be sure to measure your current bed frame first. I tried to put this inside my bed frame, but this bunkie board wasn't wide enough to reach the side supports. So it is useless to me, unless I buy some wood from home depot and try to widen the side supports in my current bed frame.

can I use this directly on the floor for a low profile king bed frame?

Just want to put this out there for anyone who may not know- if you put your mattress directly on the floor, with no support underneath (like this product), mold will grow. You have to slightly lift it off the floor so it will have airflow to prevent mold.
