Purchased this heating blanket three and a half years ago...loved the feel of it and setting options.Last week when I plugged it in, it was not working with a flashing 'F'.I went to the support site, registered my product and submitted a claim. All that was necessary was a screenshot of my Amazon receipt and a few photos of the blanket.Customer service walked me through a few trouble shooting steps (did not fix the problem.) Then they asked me to confirm my current shipping address & sent me a new one. Received the new blanket about a week after first submitting my claim.Very impressed with their customer service...will be sticking with this brand the next time I make a similar purchase.

These blankets are super-soft, the proportions are good so they fit our beds well, and they are a good value for the money. The auto-shut off is a really nice feature, and the temp controls are easy to use and very user-friendly. I have purchased one king size and one queen, and both of them are really nice.

I bought this one to replace an older version of the same blanket that stopped working after several years. After using this blanket I'm suspicious that several of the reviews that appear here are NOT for this particular product. The ones that complain about it having a short controller cord are the most suspect. This blanket has 11ft controller cords-the longest and most useful that I've seen on the market. I know because I purchased and returned another popular brand because of short control cords. Luckily I found this blanket. These are the only ones that actually make sense and are long enough to place on a nightstand.As far as the heat goes, the blanket is fantastic. I preheat my bed on level 3 (of 10 heat levels) and turn it down to 1 for sleeping and it is plenty warm. Even without the heat this is a warm, light weight blanket. I haven't been cold at night since and I live in a cold northern climate. Terrific purchase!

I bought a different brand and had to return it, so this one was a second try. I bought the full size, though my bed is a queen since I do not share a bed.Overall I am pretty happy with my purchase.Notes:-Biggest con for me is that it takes a while to heat up. I suggest turning it on at *minimum* 1hr before you want to use it. Once it's hot - it's hot!-Thin blanket.-The wires do not go from edge to edge of the blanket. I was not expecting that, and the pictures don't show you that, either. The pictures have the blanket sideways. A full size on a queen would've been fine if it weren't for that. It stretches across my bed perfectly, but if you are sleeping 2 people on a queen, I might even suggest getting a king.-The light does not stay on to show the blanket is on. I'm okay with that but other people aren't.

I’m extremely disappointed in this heated blanket. I’ve owned several electric blankets before, but this year I wanted to treat myself to something more luxurious. After doing a lot of research, I kept hearing about how luxuriously soft this Serta blanket was. I’ll admit it is very soft to the touch, but that is about the only positive thing I can say.The blanket is much thinner than I expected and it’s only plush on one side. You can easily see and feel the stitching along the edges, which gives it a cheap and unfinished feel. Even worse, the heating is very uneven. I set it to level 10 and waited about 40 minutes. The top portion became warm, but the area down by my feet stayed cold. The most surprising part is that both sides of the blanket have about 12 inches with no heating elements at all.For a brand like Serta, I expected much better quality and design. This does not feel like a premium product and I truly regret spending extra for what turned out to be a disappointing purchase. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a high end or evenly heated blanket.

I bought this electric blanket. The material is luxurious, the warmth is evenly distributed and it’s the only blanket you need when the outside air falls way below zero. The range of heat goes from 1 to 10, pleasing everyone’s need for just the “right amount of heat.” My only problem with this product that caused me to return it was the inability to disconnect the electrical cord before washing the blanket. Other than that, it was a dream!

I was hesitant to buy this blanket because some of the reviews said it didn’t get warm or the cord was too short. I purchased a King size and we have a California king bed, the cord fits perfectly down the side of the frame and reaches the end table no problem. The blanket on a 2 gets warmer than I need, (souther California) but on chilly nights it is nice to turn on to warm up the sheets and then turn it off. You can feel the wires through the blanket but this does not bother me. The blanket is soft light weight and comfortable. We will see if it last more than a season.

I love the softness and color of this blanket, the 10 heat settings and especially the timer. However, every single night, it slithers off the end of the bed, taking our flannel top sheet and comforter with it. Maybe the wires are enough of a weight and our bodies make a bit of a slope? I don’t know, but the covers consistently end up around my waist and this awesome blanket is the only change.
