French Wide 1 Inch Tortoise Shell Brown and Black Hair Headbands

Love these. One is slightly tighter than the other, which is weird, but they both look great. I have very short hair after going through chemo, and I love the wide band, and these don't slip off. Other bands have broken, even name brands, and these are holding up. Love the colors. Worth the extra $.

1 Star for how they look but that's it. These are not sized for any normal headed adult. They would fit a child, but are so sharp I wouldn't trust it to be comfortable or not cutting them. Definitely returning them.

Well made. You can wear for about two hours before the area behind your ears hurt. At some point all head bands hurt behind the ear, this one, you can wear for while before you feel the pain. The black band is larger than the brown.

These looked small but fit perfect for me however after wearing one I noticed it looked stretched out. I have alot of hair so I'm sure that did help it. However it never went back to being tighter as you can see in the picture.

I made the mistake of clicking on a Pinterest ad and buying it without reading the reviews. This is definitely a headband the size of a kid’s head. Also the brown one that is supposed to be patterned is just solid brown on mine which I really don’t like. I wanted the tortoise shell pattern. I’m not sure if I’ll return it because I haven’t had it on my head for a full day yet to decide if it hurts my head or not but as of right now, I’m quite disappointed.

This set of two French made celluloid headbands is a great value for the sought after classic style. I love these even more than the usual brands you hear about because not only are they cheaper, these headbands have little teeth all around the band and really stay in place better than the ones that just have the little nibs several inches apart. They do feel like celluloid instead of plastic because they are more smooth and malleable. They might look small when you first get them but with this material you can manipulate it to comfortably fit your head. The best way I have found to do this is as soon as you get your headband in the mail run it under very hot tap water for a few minutes, shake the water off and put it on. You may have to run it under hot water a few times but put the headband on the way you plan to wear it with your hair down, etc. Adjust it where it feels comfortable behind your ears and wear it around the house. Wear it while doing chores until you don't realize you have it on. Now it will be shaped to your head and be really comfortable the first time you wear it out. This material is light but durable and the rounded edges feel comfortable behind your ears, especially after you have molded the headband. It can stretch out quite a bit when using the hot water method so don't think it won't fit if it looks small when it arrives. The colors are great, go with anything and the classic look of this headband will elevate any outfit just as it did with CBK in the 1990s. These are a great way to polish your look with very little effort.

So cute but they are basically wear once and done. They warp so easily from even slight warmth like even your head. I basically have to reshape them everytime i use them

These are super cute and a great size. They do sit a little tight because of the plastic but it gets better with wear. Love wearing them when I want my hair tucked or it's a little dirty.

It is a strong plastic and hold hair tight, just wish it can be wider.

This is the size of a children’s headband, does not fit a normal sized head.
