Worked great! Easy to install.

My rating is for the quality of the light. The overall reliability of the light and fixture together is poor. I really like the quality of light thrown by these mini fluorescents. I think there perfect for shaving, applying makeup, or removing a splinter from your finger. My sole complaint is the short life - usually less than a year. However I’m not convinced that the short life is wholly the fault of fluorescents but may be a result of a faulty fixture. I have been tempted to convert the fixture to work with LED lights but lack the time and ambition to do it.

Pros: Good, affordable replacement for original bulbs in our bathrooms. I checked the original order date and it looks like these lasted about 2.5 years in our master bathroom (the bathroom that sees the most use). This sounds about right compared to the bulbs that the house originally came with. Cons: None really. They can maybe be a little hard to wiggle out while standing on a stepladder. Other thoughts: With that said, sometimes when Amazon sells a "generic" version, you're never really sure exactly what you're getting. For example, I've tried purchasing generic laser printer toner cartridges through Amazon, and they were EXTREMELY hit or miss depending upon whatever Chinese brand you got. Some worked great, others leaked like crazy and left streaks on my printouts. For what it's worth, my bulbs were packaged as "Damar" brand and they work just fine.

An awesome and cheap alternative to what I was needing, plug and play. Almost perfect for my application, lacking with brightness. That would be my fault though. Light works great so far.

They are the right size and brightness. Hopefully they will last long.

These bulbs fit my Panasonic ceiling fixture perfectly, with no modification. They are nice and bright -- when new and when warmed up -- but they don't last all that long. In a bathroom that we don't use all that much, one bulb lasted only 2 years and 5 months. Considering the price, that's not great longevity. Of course, the price is a lot lower with this pack of 4 bulbs than it is buying replacements at a hardware store, but still. For the cost, the bulb should last at least 5 years in a lightly used room. When new, these bulbs (the brand is "Sunlite" on the bulbs I received) are nice and bright, with a color temperature of around 3500K. That is a little whiter than the original bulbs, which were quite yellow looking. However, as these Sunlite bulbs aged, they fired up rather dimly, then got brighter as they warmed. They were fully warm and bright after a minute or so. That's okay if you will be the room for a little while, but if you just need a quick light to find something in the vanity, it can be a little dim at first. These Sunlite bulbs are not bad, but they are not great, either. I'll give them 3 stars for being less expensive than the hardware store alternative.

The bulbs came and in perfect condition. None of them worked so decided the fan must be broken.
