LilySilk 100% Mulberry Silk Bonnet, Silk Night Sleep Cap Adjustable Hair Wrap for Sleeping, Rosy Pink

I really like this bonnet. The quality is so nice and soft. It also came with a silk scrunchie.my only gripe is it is too small if my hair is not in braids twists, or something similar. I have boob length mostly type 4 hair with some type 3 curls, and it's just not big enough woth my curls out or when my hair is stretched. The headband part adjusts well and it stays on good enough. I did end up buying a cheaper large one do see how my hair fits before dropping another $50 on this brand. I think it would be worth the money i juat want to see how similar styles fit first.

I used to struggle with super tangled hair, to the point where it would take up to 30 mins just to comb it out every week...it’s difficult to manage because if I don’t brush it every single night and tie it into a braid, it’s a bird’s nest the next day. With this cap it’s really easy. I just plop up my hair under there and it keeps it way more manageable, with minimal tangles. After washing my hair, it also helps reduce frizz from sleeping on it. The one minus to this is that it doesn’t stay on your head super well. At times I’ve woken up with it off my head. Usually though, if you plop it up well, tie it properly and maybe pin with a bobby pin or two, it will stay. Definitely 100% silk and worth your $$$!

I loved this silk bonnet! Its affordable, soft, and comfortable! I have been loving how this silk bonnet has helped not only my hair look and feel healthier on top of it helping the curls of my hair last longer and so I am currently using less heat on my hair but also I struggle with dry scalp and this had helped with my scalp.

This bonnet is very soft and comfortable to wear over night, however it is not suitable for curl protection. For one, the elastic that's inside the band is thin and not secured so it twists around inside, which is annoying. Second, the band part that actually secures the bonnet to your head is too wide and is not silk lined. I have a pretty high forehead and I'd have to wear this with the band pretty much just above my eyebrows for my hairline to not end up completely flattened and mussed up worse than if I just slept on it with nothing. On the whole, would not recommend this bonnet for curl protection overnight.

I really like this sleep bonnet. No more waking up with tangles (rats nests) in my hair, which reduces hair loss too. I turn it inside out, so the smoothest side touches my hair. I also found that if I tie it under my chin, that it does not fall off during the night. I have shoulder length hair, and I put it up on top of my head in a scrunchie at night, and then put this sleep cap on . Its nice and cool. It does not make my head hot. The next morning, just brush, and my hair is fluffy and silky, ready for the day. I hand wash with Woolite. I've purchased two, so I have one to wear while the other is in the wash. I highly recommend this product to reduce wear and tear on your hair. Hair remains silky, the next morning. PS: I should add, that I always use a silk pillow case too. When I have to sleep on a cotton pillow case, the cap falls off due to the friction with cotton pillow case. But when I sleep on a silk pillow case, the silk case and silk bonnet work beautifully together. The cap never falls off. I hope this helps.

I usually don't write reviews and never 1 star reviews ever but this is probably the worse product I've ever bought. The band is not elastic at all which means that the cap is constantly slipping around (either falling off or sliding down to cover my eyes). That might be workable but there is a small elastic piece on the cap itself that created a huge gap when the band is tied. My hair was falling out of the back ALL THE TIME. I struggled to make it work because I truly love Lilysilk as a brand but in order to try make the cap stay on I had to tie my hair up and use about 12 bobby pins and it still slid all over the place. It's also not comfortable to wear. Save your money and get something else. I'm returning it.

This silk bonnet works really well. It’s light and comfortable to wear. I have fine, thick, shoulder length hair which is smooth after blow drying but becomes frizzy after sleeping all night on a cotton pillowcase. Even a silk pillowcase didn’t help. I just purchased this silk bonnet, have used it for the last 4 nights, and every morning I wake up and my hair looks great. No more morning frizz.

This cap was on my on daughter’s Christmas list. She wanted it to help minimize damage to her hair and reduce the frizz while sleeping at night. The things that we liked about the cap was the color, the satin was nice to the feel, and its thickness was what you would expect in a satin sleeping cap. To compare, it is the same thickness as satin pillow cases. Also the elastic band, about 2-2 1/2 inches wide) was made out of soft and elastic polyester weave which was soft and per my daughter comfortable. Here come the CONs: I choose this cap because in its description it stated that it had added room to accommodate above average amounts of hair. The caps capacity is no bigger than a hotel complimentary shower cap. Her hair barely fits if it is wet, but when dry, it is like trying to put toothpaste back inside its tube. In addition, the the elastic band/gather, which is actually nice and wide, soft, and comfortable lost its elasticity after the 1st week of use, which means that even if she can stuff all her hair in it, the band falls down on the job of keeping the cap oh her head. so that her very long and curly wouldn’t be somewhat protected from frizzy or damge

It’s comfy, breathable and lightweight. Makes your hair super soft and shiny. Stays on.

It’s waste of $40.00, instead just use any silk scarf Lying around to wrap on head. It’s flimsy and nothing luxurious about it.
