Flower press
I recently purchased the Burstuk extra large flower press, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The flower press arrived promptly and was perfectly packaged, ensuring that it arrived in excellent condition. I love the box that the press comes in as it has very beautiful floral detailing. I was immediately drawn to purchasing this press due to its quality and the beautiful design. Its large size is perfect for pressing larger flowers and leaves. The metal screws are sturdy and easy to use, allowing for an even and consistent press. I particularly appreciate the inclusion of blotting paper and clear instructions, which made the pressing process even easier. Overall, I highly recommend the Burstuk extra large flower press for anyone who enjoys pressing flowers or looking for a beautiful and practical gift for someone special. It's worth every penny and I can't wait to use it again and again.

A wonderful Experience
I am overjoyed with my Berstuk Flower Press! For a long time now I have been wanting to create more BEAUTY in this world as I see things are so difficult for people right now. Something inside impelled me to look into the art of pressing flowers but I didn't know where to start and so I started here on Amazon. I was intuitively drawn to this model of flower press and was so happy I did. I had tried to flower press before not realizing you need to use blotting paper not normal paper and the difference is immediate! Sarah who runs the company sorted out a tiny problem I had at the very beginning and since then my journey has been flourishing. My first attempts look lovely so I can only imagine what will happen when I get more accomplished at the design part! I thought the wood might bend but it only gives very slightly so you can press the flowers down quite tightly without it breaking or snapping! The wing nuts only will go so far really so you can't break the wood. I find them preferable to the idea of straps as they are so easy to use. The design on the pale wood looks beautiful. Easy to use and their website gives you all the knowledge you need to begin this awesome ART. I do have a garden so can pick my own flowers. It gives me a warm feeling inside to know that simply arranging a few flowers this way can be so artistically satisfying and a wonderful home made gift for family and friends. Now I have done this I am excited to try doing epoxy art and put those same pressed flowers into all sorts of items. Thank you Berstuk, I will recommend your company to anyone and everyone to increase the love available in this world via the natural world. Such fun too.

Almost perfect!
This is a very nice press for larger flowers or keeping all parts together for reconstruction. I would give it a 5 star if it weren’t that some of the screws spin so you can’t tighten as much as you’d like. Otherwise great size, materials and looks pretty on my craft table.

a fantastic kit for beginners
I used this Extra Large Flower Press Kit to preserve my bridal bouquet, and it worked perfectly. The kit included everything I needed, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My bouquet was on the smaller side, so the press worked well, but if your bouquet is larger, you might need extra blotting paper to fit everything properly.

Beautiful press, has some issues
I have the Max Microfleur (8.75x8.75), Berstuk large (11x15), and Rhykoka (11x11) flower presses. This is a side by side comparison. Last paragraph below is the review of the Berstuk press. My favorite is the Microfleur for a small quantities of vibrant, very dry flowers in a short period of time. Two perforated microwave safe plastic plates, four plastic clips, two cotton batts and two cotton (muslin) blotters. The downside is that it is not a passive press, it requires a microwave. Most flowers are finished in two 30 second bursts in our 1200w microwave. Also, it is small and needs to cool down and dry out after two, maybe three uses so volume of plant material processed is limited in each session. When compared to a month(s) long passive press, it does balance out. Depending on what is drying, it can also make the microwave/kitchen stinky. The batting and blotting fabric can be washed between uses, or replaced if needed. You can even purchase a half yard of muslin at a local fabric store and cut into more blotter pieces. Includes a plastic tweezer and paper instructions (at least it did when I purchased it a four years ago direct from the company.) The Rhykoka is larger than the Microfleur. Easy to manage with only two hands. Comes with a couple of tools, though better quality can be purchased elsewhere; and a handy carrying/harvesting bag. Includes ten pieces of cardboard and a few extra blotting papers. Bolts & nuts are good quality. Wood is 3/8” lightweight (balsa?) plywood that so far is holding up and gets the job done. Includes a paper sheet of instructions. The Berstuk is a large press. It comes with eight (8) pieces of precut cardboard, with two additional pieces you cut from the top and bottom of its box. I had to purchase additional blotting paper as there was not enough included. No tools, or carrying bag included, instructions can be obtained by scanning a QR code on the box. The wood is a gorgeous maple or birch plywood just shy of 5//8”. Bolts are a cheap brass (?) with wingnuts made of some kind of brass slag metal. Holes in the nuts are bored off center though they do work properly. The size of the press and drilled holes (6) also makes it very awkward and hard to remove/replace top piece without help. Problem solved by drilling the holes out two sizes larger. I’ll also be replacing the bolts and nuts soon because I don’t like the quality. During my first use, which included the cut out box sections, everything molded. I had to replace all the cardboard and purchase more blotter paper. There was probably excessive moisture on the flowers, but it could also have been complicated by the coating on the box sections preventing complete evaporation under pressure. I would recommend not using the box cut outs for extra cardboard and store the press in it instead. It is a pretty box.

Good quality. Rare find.
Very good. It is big enough for any size of flowers, or I can work on a few at the same time. Good quality.
