I wanted to have a side stand for my ipad pro as a 2nd screen/entertainment screen. The only thing about this is, I cannot have my ipad vertical because the bottom of the panel is 2 adjustable tiny rectangles, when I put my ipad portrait it falls through. I know there are others who will use a magsafe stand but I like my stands topple free and I have already done cable management. This set up is great for me. Again, if your stand is the clamp type it will protrude at the back causing the desk to not be fully flushed to the wall.

Works exactly as intended. Has been holding up without issue for quite some time. For the price its a great purchase

It's a stand. The material over all is good, the clips hold my computer down, easy to set up.

Such a great edition to my work from home desk. It allows me to utilize both my laptop on it and my monitor. Great for people who work from home to keep your desk organized

Perfect for what I needed. I am building out and upgrading my Electric Drum kit, and bought a new Drum Module which did not come with a way to attach it to my drum rack. I found this product and I'm happy to say that it works perfectly for my current applications and having the adjustable pole clamp leaves room to continue modifying and upgrading my setup knowing that I can attach the module to the drum rack, or my laptop stand if I need to do so in the future.

When I opened the container, I was surprised to see just how short the arms are. None of the arm segments are longer than 5 inches. I initially ordered two. One to mount a small desktop synthesizer to the right pole of a multi-tier musical keyboard stand, the other to mount a 14" laptop to the left pole of the same stand. I assembled the one to mount the synth first. Once assembled, I found that the resistance between the moving joints was way too loose. Although two of the three joints presumably could be tightened, the Allen wrench supplied was not the correct size (it matched the mounting bolts, but not the joint bolts). I found my own wrench to tighten the joint bolts, but the main joint (the one just after the pole mount) remained loose even after I tightened the bolt to the maximum of my ability. Given how I wanted to mount the laptop, this would never be satisfactory. I could not trust the mounting of an $1800 laptop with such loos joints. I returned the second mount. I decided to keep the first one because it did mount my synthesizer securely to the base-plate, and I managed to wedge the unused bolts in between the loose joints and secured them with packing tape. The thing was bush, but I did get it to work and the kludge is hidden behind the synth. If you do not use Prime, I wouldn't purchase this without being able to make sure that it will suit your mounting needs.

Kinda bulky, and I can see how people might be frustrated by the shortness of the armature, but it works exactly as I wanted it to & is very solid and sturdy. I found the adjustable side arms to be unnecessary so I took them off; but getting them either off or on is a little tricky so I'd advise leaving them off til the rest is installed to see if you think you need them.

Holds a heavy 16" laptop in position, it has adjustable lateral tabs to ensure the safety of your computer.

This is a great shelf and can be configured in many different ways. I initially purchased to use on an existing dual-monitor mount to position my laptop in a manner where I can use the webcam. It didn't quit work as I wanted in that set up but I was able to use it to store the laptop vertically, off the desk. A bit pricey for what I used it for but still a very good product for any application where you need a shelf mounted on a pole.

This works great and it's easy to assemble. I'd give it 5 stars instead of 4 but I could tell that it was returned by someone else i.e. while all of the pieces were included, some of the pieces were outside of their plastic bag. The different joints are easy to rotate with just the right amount of resistance.
