Is 48v nominal? Really more like 56v or more while charging 4 - 12v lead acid batteries in series?

Can you put two lines going out of the switch? I have two different bus bars and would like the on/off switch to turn both off at the same time.

Can you put the single on/off switch on two batteries in series? Just need to shut off both and turn back on both at the same time.

Can you remove the red knob itself?
