Does the kayak mount come with it

Hi there, the package of this portable fish finder doesn't include the kayak mount, but it include the bracket, you can connect it with the bracket. If you want to purchase kayak mount for this fish finder, you can choose it on our store. We provide the transducer mount arm for this handheld fish finder.

Hi, is this fish finder water resistant if dropped in a lake?

Hi there, the monitor of this fish finder is not water resistant, please be careful for not dropping it in the lake.

Is this waterproof safety?

As far as I know , the only part that is "WATERPROOF" is the sonar head. The readout case may be water resistant, but NO GUARENTEE to that statement. I really do not understand the "SAFETY" aspect of your inquiry, but short of hitting someone with either part ---- it is DC voltage ( no chance of a shock ) and quite safe.
