I am a 77-year-old man, and I enjoy doing latch hooks. They are so easy, and I have been doing them since I was 20. It is a great way to relax after a long day! I even taught my art students how to do it. The ones from this company are always nice. Everything you need is in the package including a latch hooker, but I would suggest getting another one with a wooden handle (It is a little easier to use!) Amazon ships these and they always come quickly! Merry Christmas! P.S. I just added the picture of my finished latch hook. It took a while, but I love it. We have a real squirrel that comes to our patio every day to get food and water and we call him Flufftail. This latch hook looks just like him!

Completed hook latch rug is hanging on the wall to soften up the room. Quality yarn and an easy pattern to follow. Great for a project that can be displayed.

As another reviewer stated the pattern printed on the canvas is not accurate and you must go by the chart provided. I am 11 rows into making this, and the easiest way is to count out how many of a color at the time and pull that many out so you aren't counting and worried about losing your count or which row or space you are on (by striking out which spots you've already done). The yarn...some of the yarn is cut top short and some cut too long. Hopefully what another reviewer stated with ending up with extra yarn is true. Also was hoping the colors would have been slightly muted, some are way brighter than I realized they would be, I get hot air balloons are colorful and bright but what the picture shows doesn't appear to be as kiddish as the colors of yarn. Also the edge spots on the left of the canvas are hard to work the yarn through because its easy to snag your hook on the edge. Overall it's a fun project to do when I need to try to stay off my feet due to orthopedic issues. The hook works well once you figure out how to use it. I'd say with having to rest your arms between sessions it should take roughly 3 weeks to a month to finish.

I was loving it at first but, now that im almost done the top is falling apart and im very upset about it. I dont know what to do about that. Its beautiful rug but im not even done with it and the stitching is falling apart. Idk how im going to finish it without it ripping even more. -Update I finished it. Its beautiful but the top still looks very bad. But still a pretty peice!

I liked it . It’s easy to use . And it’s soft too . I can have some quality time with my daughter together

The kit was perfectly loaded, in a nice case with a carrying handle. Lovely pattern. The canvas is dyed with colours, which helps you follow the pattern. FYI: Shorter strands of yarn, so not ideal if you're looking for more of a shag carpet.

This will brighten any wall! So pleasant to look at. Love It!
