Curlsmith – Shape Up Aqua Gel, Lightweight Styling Gel with Proteins for Damaged Hair (237ml)

This is a great addition to my curly routine, I need to use it alongside another gel, but this helps my hair when the weather is humid or damp outside. I will definitely buy again.

I love curlsmith and this is a very good product if you don't want much hold or want to mix it with a harder hold gel or mousse/foam. Or even for refreshing days.

Loving this gel and finally found my combination for my curly hair. I have sorry had.. limp thin curls that didn't hold the whole day. Now using only curls cleanser and conditioner, a small amount of leave in and this gel whilst using a curl brush but not the one with wide separater but for thin separater curls is my holy grail after years of trying so my different products these are what work for me. I use the gel whilst separating hair in sections and adding gel then brush style and repeating once all styled I add more gel scrunching before drying.. first pic is hair before and the 2nd is my hair after drying before scrunching out the crunch and 3rd is after curls last days now and don't dropped by end of day one. Good hold, but does leave your hair very stiff and sticky? Felt a bit disgusting and had to wash it off once I got home

Habe wie man sehen kann mittlerweile echt viele Produkte der strength Serie von Curlsmith. Als allererstes die Verpackung ist wirklich hochwertig und schön. Es kam auch nichts beschädigt an. Der Duft der ganzen Serie ist richtig schön fruchtig und hält sich echt lange. Ganz wichtig ist hier zu sagen, dass alle Produkte Proteine enthalten und deshalb nicht für jeden Haartyp geeignet sind. Ich habe super feine Locken und meine Haare lieben Proteine. Das Gel ist auf Wasserbasis und wirklich richtig flüssig. Es lässt sich super in den Haaren verteilen, ohne sie zu beschweren. Es bildet sich nur ein leichter Cast, welcher sich gut raus kneten lässt. Kann das Gel wirklich für feine Haare empfehlen. Werde es definitiv wieder kaufen. Meine Locken fühlen sich gut an und haben einen schönen Sprung!

I am very new to the curly girl hair club, and just found out that my frizzy, poofy, straight hair that doesn't seem to straighten very well anymore is actually wavy! It started changing after the birth of my second son 23 years ago and then when menopause started a number of years ago, I just thought my hair was bad all of a sudden because of Hormones. No! Over the past few months I've been watching so many YouTube videos and found that the Curlsmith brand works very well: no sulfates, silicones, parabens and they are also hydrating and light on my 2a waves. I gave this one to try the other day and loved the cast that it gave my hair without making it look oily after I crunched it out. I decided to go ahead and purchase a lot of their other products because so far, this one has exceeded the performance of others that I've tried. I'm still on such a huge learning curve with how to manage/style these waves while having them look natural and this product definitely helps! I'm looking forward to more bouncy waves as my hair repairs and strengthens.

I was not sold on the Curl Smith line as there were just too many to choose from and it seemed overwhelming. I gave it a try after doing research and decided on the Strength line. I purchased the shampoo, volume foam, aqua gel, and miracle shield. So far, I'm loving it. I apply the products by doing foam, gel, and then foam again. I'm seeing good results this way. The gel is watery, hence the name. I thought at first I received a contaminate product, before I actual read how the consistency would be. A little goes a long way. As I've come to realize with curly hair, less is more. Using a heavy gel, especially on fine hair, will weigh it down and cause the curls to not be as defined. This is just all part of the curl journey when embracing curls. I will continue using this product for a few months to see if it truly strengthens my hair. Right now, I can only review how it's styling it.

Ich habe zwar relativ starke Locken, aber ziemlich feines Haar. Meine Locken hängen ohne Pflegeprodukte daher immer recht schnell aus. Mit diesem Produkt ist dies anders. Ein Wunder kann ich davon nicht erwarten; dazu bin ich nicht genug in dem Lockenpflege-Game. Dennoch halten die Locken deutlich länger und sind nicht ab Tag 2 nach der Haarwäsche direkt ausgehangen und das reicht mir persönlich vollkommen aus. Wer auch sonst seine Locken entsprechend pflegt, wird mit diesem Produkt sehr zufrieden sein

With 3B curls it’s a constant battle to find good products. I’ve tried countless drugstore brands with varying degrees of success but not enough to get me to buy again. I saw this gel on a YT video and I’m sold! Massive slip, it can be built up for extra hold, good scent, good crunch. No need for me to look again.
