When the product arrived, I was immediately disappointed to discover that the "wood" body is made of wood composite, with a very, very thin veneer made from what looks something like contact paper. I went ahead and put it together to see how obvious the cheap veneer was, but unfortunately the end brackets did not match up with the wood tabletop and lower shelf leaving a 1/4 - 1/2 " gap which I can imagine would easily rip clothing if not skin. I notified the seller and was issued a return address, but it looks like I'll have to pay shipping which comes out to more than I paid for the product. I also received what I presumed was an automated reply asking for more information. In the description, the 4th point states "Versatile design & risk-free purchase...". How can that be if I have to pay to return the item? In summary, the item looks cheap and is a hazard. Save your money!
