Very nice crucifix. Light, comfortable to wear every day. Have had mine on for 4 years and am replacing it with another of the same. Pray, study, work. Christ is King. Thank you Father for another day.

Its beautiful, great image of St. Benedict on the back and great figure of Christ in Gold on the front with the wood creating a nice balance. If you don't want the overly glamorous all medal crosses but you also don't want just plain wood this is the best balance I've found....Just don't pull too hard on the rope and cross for whatever reason. I did that when it was caught in a shirt and broke the connector. I eventually fixed it manually but had already ordered this same one again so I have two. Its still good quality and that incident is not a poor reflection on the product. I just want you to treat your crucifix with care. God bless.

Very nice crucifix. I bought it for my grandson, 17y.o. who is going to mass every Sunday with friends. I didn't take it out of its package. But looking at it, it seems to be comfortable around the neck. The crucifix itself looks nice and I think detailed.

I purchased two crosses at the same time. This was one, and the other was a metal, bare (risen) cross (Made in China). The wood, the varnish, and the size of this crucifix is wonderful. I can wear this without feeling that I am violating the religious spirit of the item. This is not for display, but for the person wearing it, and it is comfortable against the skin. As a person who has had open heart surgery, and hence scar tissue at the sternum, any jewelry with a sharp edge is out of the question. Additionally, I have a relatively large hat size (7 1/2), and the cord fits over my head without any difficulty. Further, the detail work on the back of the crucifix is lovely. This is a great value and a lovely item.

I was unsure about purchasing this because of the price, but it is truly a little work of art! I was stunned when it arrived in the mail. The cross itself is gorgeous, but what truly sets this apart is the intricate detailing of Christ. If you want a devotional item that helps you keep Christ with you at all times, I would highly recommend this! I also think it would make a lovely gift. If I were to give this to someone I would buy a gold chain for it. That would make it look even nicer.
