Contigo Autoseal West Loop Vaccuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug, 16 Oz, Biscay Bay

I love this cup! Beautiful look. Ergonomic shape for easy handling. Perfect and automatic spring-loaded seal on top, so absolutely no spills. Just squeeze the button on top to open it to drink. Regards the button and the spring automatically closes and seals the liquid inside. Double wall stainless steel walls provide excellent insulation--hot or cold. Contigo makes an excellent product. And it withstands the occasional accidental drop onto the pavement or concrete with barely a scratch. They fit perfectly into any car drink-holder opening. I don't drive anywhere without my cup and some cold water. And with just a few cubes of ice in my water, it stays cold for hours even sitting inside a hot car in the parking lot.

The Contigo Autoseal West Loop 2.0 Travel Mug has become my favorite. I received one in a Keurig Package offer and thought "oh great another mug to clutter up". I tried it and I am now throwing out all of my other travel mugs and have ordered more in different colors. I have 5 so far with more on the way. First, mine DO NOT Leak. The inside of the lid is a little tricky and when you unsnap it to clean it, you DO need to make sure it is snapped back completely. Not difficult or complicated, just easy to overlook. I have turned it completely upside down, half full, in the middle of a store to show it off. Though I forgot to click the lock when I threw it in my purse, it still did not leak. Those that have posted theirs leaked may not have the autoseal snapped all the way, or a faulty one as none of mine have leaked. Second, hot or cold, it stays that way. Hot liquids I like to leave the lid off for a minutes or remind myself to be careful as those first sips will be a bit too hot. The hot liquids may cool down quicker than the cold ones will warm up, but I've never had any mug without an internal heater that kept my hot beverages hot for this long, I'm not sure if the posted complaints are expecting more than can be expected because mine, if not HOT, they are at least pleasantly warm at the end of 1 to 2 hours and I do not like LUKEWARM hot beverages.. COLD. Almost unbelievable. Without the lid and with ice, drinks will stay cold for hours. With the lid I have had ice and drink remaining overnight. I now walk around the house with my iced water or tea daily.

I feel a little stupid because I was drinking from the wrong end. I actually gave this thing one star because it was leaking from the spout as it turns out I was drinking from the wrong end because it does come out of that end as well but that’s just an air slot the button is behind it and you drink from the other side. I was going to come on to redo my review at the minimum to give it another star because of how hot it keeps thngs. And I’m talking about when the top not even on it it keeps it hot for a long time. But at 9 o’clock in the morning today I made tea I just took the cup and poured it into the sink because I figured that it will be ice cold by now it was actually still lukewarm after all those hours.it’s 603PM PM!!! I was so embarrassed about my review that I had to redo it and erase it completely because I was so obviously wrong but I’m pretty sure that this is happened to somebody else as well. This is the best one I have ever had. End of story. Nothing is better than us. Mine is blue it is extremely durable and as I said before it keep stuff hot. It’s sealed it completely not one week it is the best one I’ve ever had again I just said that and I’ve had so many different kinds over the years this is by far the best one

I bought this on Prime Day for $12! (I got 2 because I had a $12 credit from another product). They’re so great and the perfect size. I can fit a normal cup of coffee in one and it stays warm for hours. I’ve even put cold water in it, in which is stayed cold for hours, too! I love the auto seal capability and the locking mechanism, for extra piece of mind. I’ve already knocked it over at my desk and in my car and not a drop was spilled. The colors are vibrant and I love the stainless steel and feel to them. I use mine every day. The customer service was also great. My teal tumble arrived with a dent in it. I quickly notified the seller and they put another one in the mail the same day and it was delivered the next day. No questions asked. (I did return the dented one, of course). I’m not sure how much they are now, but it’s definitely worth having.

WoW !!! Do these work well. Other than for one tiny negative aspect, I'd give 5 stars. (A+) Temperature for hot coffee - This keeps my coffee hot for several hours. BTW - I do not like coffee that is too hot, plus I add 2% milk, so when the lid goes on, the coffee has already cooled to some degree. As the first few sips are too hot for my liking, I let the mug sit next to my desk and after 30 to 45 minutes I can begin to drink it somewhat comfortably. I'm still enjoying my coffee right now 2.5 hours after it was made. (A+) Leaking - None. Zero. The mug does not leak regardless of when it is locked or not. Of course if unlocked and the button is depressed, well of course it will. When initially cleaning the mug, I tested by filling it with extremely hot water and affixed the lid as instructed. Yes, by turning it first counter-clockwise to allow the lid's threads to drop down (you'll hear this if you listen for it) and engage the metal cylinder's threads before turning it clockwise. This PREVENTS cross-threading which will mess up the lid's threads. I locked the lid, then inverted the mug and shook the heck out of it - then waited and waited. Not one drop leaked out. Next I repeated by unlocking the lid and again not a single drop. - not from the drink button, nor the lock button, nor at the lid to mug juncture (threads). (A+) Use - My interest in purchasing this product was to protect my computer equipment. Previously I used a mug that would close off coffee flow, but it definitely was not leak proof. I'm not a cavalier coffee drinker by any means but when near computer equipment I was always concerned I'd spill my coffee. Now? I'm still cautious, but far less concerned about an accidental spill. CONTIGO - Suggestion - I'd prefer a squatter mug. One with: 1. A handle attached to mug at top & bottom of handle 2. A different profile, having a very broad bottom and narrow top. This would afford several benefits: better stabilization AND a lower profile to fit under coffee makers.. No taller than 6 inches (lid removed dimension) might be a good limit. (B+) NEGATIVE - My only negative is on one mug it appears the protective, imprinted, outer plastic wrap was applied too soon after the two "contigo" logos were printed on the mug as the plastic wrap bonded to the painted logos. The tiny projecting pieces sticking out from the logos feels a bit uncomfortable. The wrap should not be applied until the logos' paint is fully cured.

This is my most favorite travel mug I've ever had. I've been using it a few months, I throw it in my work bag and I've never had any leaks. It keeps my coffee pretty warm to hot for a good few hours - maybe up to 4 hours, which I very much appreciate, as I can get busy working at the hospital so I often don't have time to sit down to drink my coffee all in one go. Just make sure to pull out the drink tab when washing the lid so all the parts can get nice and clean. It's a bummer that the body isn't machine washable, but other than that it's perfect.

Great travel tumblers I have been using them for many years and will keep using them as the leak proof function is wonderful so I don't have to worry about spilling anywhere I go.

We have purchased 7 of these now... We have stopped using any of our other travel mugs and have had two of these go missing... They are great and a decent price. Looking through the other reviews will give you all the tips you need to know but here are the ones that rang true for me so far...hot liquid creates a pressure wit the sealed lid and it gives off a little poof of stem when you push the button after its been sealed for a while... like your coffee is spitting in your face if you are not careful... Color comes off if you use the dishwasher which it tells you not to do in the directions. The only issue I have is I like to drink a cup off coffee before I leave the house in the morning but this thing keeps the coffee a little too hot to drink... I leave the lid off and let it cool so I can drink and then top it off before I leave.

The product as described I encourage you to buy it. I love it 😻👌

These are a must buy if you love having warm drinks and you are time poor. I have both the easy clean and the standard model, I love that you can put them in your bag and not worry about spills. They keep drink hot for about an 1-2 hours and then the temperature lowers after that but not too much (coffee is still drinkable). I adore them for this reason alone, as I have purchased many other travel mugs and thrown out countless dregs of cold coffee because they were useless. I also use these for water. It keeps my water cold for 16 hours.

Was a gift but the receiver has said she is very happy with it.
