Great supplement for those suffering from B6 deficiency, especially due to pyroluria. I immediately felt more alert after taking this (within 15 minutes). I've been having trouble with short-term memory and this seems to be helping. I am hoping it improves my energy as well. I also remembered my dreams for the first time in years (another potential symptom of pyroluria). However, I think 50 mg is too much for me to take at once. I get a sharp pain in my stomach within minutes and then stomach problems for another hour or so. 25 mg once or twice a day might be better for me. If you have a sensitive stomach, beware. Definitely take it with a meal and consider a smaller dose if you have side effects.. And from another family member's experience, some people cannot tolerate a lot of P5P, even when they need it. In that case, start low and go slow.

I do love this brand more than Thorne, NatureMade, Nature’s Bounty, and etc. I’ve bent taking this vitamin B and noticed better feeling

P5P b6 has helped me break my addiction to Xanax for sleep. I take b6, boron, 2 magnesium citrate when I’m ready for sleep. I honestly never thought I could sleep without Xanax. In one week I was off this drug. I had read from The Health Beat that as you get older you need extra B6 so I ordered, I noticed when I took B6 at night I could fall asleep.
