Ours rattle as if a little marble is inside each egg but doesn’t growl…?** A: No I’ve not heard any growling. **Q: Do you think this would be suitable for baby play (9 months old)? I wondered about small pieces becoming detached?** A: I bought this for our Grandson’s 1st birthday. It’s a lovely little toy. Very eye catching colours. Substantially made - the baby dinosaur is inside the egg and the top of the egg comes off, but it’s quite a decent size. A bit big to go in baby’s mouth I think. Baby more inclined to suck on it. Interchange eggs - works with the other items in the set, durable design - my son has been heavy handed with them as a 1 year old does but they have no marks or chips etc. Easy to unpack and use straight away, great for ages 1-2 I would say.
