Better than the original

I had an old Ryobi power trimmer extension and was frustrated because the head unit kept shutting down on me. I decided to give this extension a try and it was a blessing in disguise. My head unit doesn't shut down any more and Ryobi came out with a super bump-head unit. No more twisting lines around blank spools. Just cut a 10 ft section of line, Turn the bump-head and then string the line through. Take the winder (included) and simply wind the line in. Simple as that. This unit also comes with two trimmer heads. All in all - Ryobi does it again. Thank you Ryobi.

We have an older Ryobi Extend It and this attachment performance works great with it. Easy to attach and use. Light weight.

I thought i received a defective part because I couldn't twist the item Into the unlock position. Those plastic gears needs to be lubricated and tested better at the factory.I had to unlock it because my twine came with a knot. Once opened and fixed, it kept working good. No need to open it anymore. I will definitely suffer when switching to the blade attachment because the locking mechanism is so stiff

copied from Chris. Exactly what i was thinking to sayThe pictures clearly display a separate dual line attachment as well as listed in the description. This product only comes with 1 attachment and it must be placed on the other bump line to even work . It does not include the precut dual line to use with the multi purposed attachment either. Just buy the head for 99.99 and purchase desired attachments seperately.Unit also would not even separate to put the blades on.It never got used and shipped right back.

Works as well if not better than the original head - and comes with usable additions.

Great upgrade from the original bumb jead,head, the quick change head is awesome.
