Ice Massage Probe w/Cryostim Gel

Cryostim Probes are the device of choice for deep tissue icing that and ice bag and cold packs cannot reach. They are "targeted icing" for specific tendon injuries and tendonitis in general and can isolate a spot about the size of a nickel on pulled or irritated tendon. I have had shoulder problems for well over a decade and have had three rotator cuff surgeries. My most recent right shoulder surgery was in 2009 and I had it fully rehabilitated. I aggravated the injury lifting weights in the gym over the summer and really aggravated it this week in a martial arts class.I went to my highly capable chiropractor who identified my shoulder issue as biceps tendonitis or perhaps a slight tear of the biceps tendon with some shoulder capsule damage. He showed me the precise spots on the tendon to ice with these probes and they work much better than general shoulder ice packs. Make sure you use the gel with them - it's a critical component to prevent freezing injury and to allow the probe to move around and target deep tissues like tendons. I have also used these cryostim probes with great success on small burns.
