To be honest I found this iron to have poor heat latency on larger joints so I bought myself a Weller Soldering Iron which is much better. **Q: Is the included solder flux core?** A: Since the removal of lead from solder, the reel of solder included are not core fluxed. In the UK at least I've not found any lead free solder with flux included.
