This was a unique ornament because of the hand sign of love the angel is making. It was for my granddaughter who has Autism and cannot speak. We use signs and although love is intangible we can not explain that particular sign.But, the love is in our eyes and in her eyes and smile. The angel is a lovely meaningful visual and a sign of hope for someday she will understand that sign and the connection of the angel and love. This is a lovely gift for teachers andfamily members who have special needs children in their lives.

I call my granddaughter “Angel” as an endearment (lots of scope for irony 😉) and I had favorite angel Christmas ornament when I was her age so wanted to give her one for her tree this year. I looked all over the web before I found this one. I like the simplicity of the design and the ASL quiet message of love. Hope she likes it as much as I do!
