Review: "Relax", said the nightman... - These things are amazing! The first one I took out of the wrapper I left it on top of the kitchen counter. I was going to put it under the sink but forgot. When I came back to it a few hours later, the entire bottom part was full of roaches! I turned it over and set it by the stove, and the next morning, it was full. I set them up where I had been seeing roaches, and now I don't see them anymore (well, alive,anyways). PROS: 1. EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE. Roaches cannot resist them. 2. Nontoxic. It uses an attractant that smells like molasses, that is surrounded by very sticky adhesive. No poison needed. 3. Enclosed design. Roaches love creeping around dark, tight spaces, what could be more inviting? Plus, you don't have to worry about seeing all them dead critters, or worry that your child (two legged or four legged) will get stuck on that mess. 4. You see them dead. A lot of products advertise that they "take the bait and go die somewhere else". That's all good and well, but I want proof. (BTW I also set up Roach Max bait that "kills the nest") One more thing I did was throw some 20 mule team borax in cabinets where my dog can't get to. Lots of dead carcasses found in that powder. 5. You can manually kill them. If I see one crawling up the wall, I will trap it and it will run into the trap and get caught. You don't get your hands dirty, no clean up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. **Q: Is this a total of 12 or 24 traps altogether?**
A: There are 2 traps per packaged box.  I received 12 boxes which makes it 24.  Thanks for asking the question because I need to order some more.  I missed the scheduled extermination.

**Q: How smelly actually is?**
A: The traps themselves have a molasses or syrupy smell, its the bait, but it fades in a day or two. You don't smell anything after that.

**Q: How well do these work for spricket (spider crickets, camel crickets, cave crickets)?**
A: These work great for cave crickets! The crickets actually like to eat other insects, so they end up hopping in for a meal and don’t leave. I’ve used these roach motels in my basement for quite a while. They’ve been fantastic! The roach and cricket population has diminished considerably. No more trying to squash a cricket jumping up, sideways, right at you! No more stinky bug spray in the house. I do use a household insect spray around my house to keep the bugs from getting inside. These catch those rotten suckers that sneak in elsewhere.

**Q: I have never seen small Black Flag roach motels and the name is wrongly spelled as one word… is this a knock off?**
