Must have for Recovering Refrigerant
Some older and dyi systems have precharged linesets. This means no valves for isolating the lineset from the condenser. This tool is a safe and easy way to recover refrigerant from the system. Even smaller refrigeration equipment has no access as it's self contained.

Disappointed with performance of this tool.
This item did not work for me as I expected. Being an HVAC Technician that works on sealed refrigeration systems, I'll stick to using the "tap" components so there is no guessing whether or not the refrigerant will leak out.
