I could cry it helps so much
Folk with lichen sclerosus or lichen simplex this will be a little miracle worker! That annoying discomfort that descends in to wanting to scratch your skin off? This helps that so tremendously. I spray a layer on after drying down from a shower, let the spray dry down and then apply a layer of Medicine Mama Vulva Balm over top to act as a barrier cream. Seals the lidocain in and the discomfort is at bay for hours while the balm keeps things soothed and extends the calming effect even longer. Now there is a downside for the folk who have already given in to the maddening urge to scratch off skin. When you spray this on the first few times it's going to burn. How much that hurts you is going to depend on your pain threshold and how much you've damaged the skin. For me it lasted about 30-60 seconds, was less painful than waxing, and then a cooling sensation (I'm assuming from the mint) set in and then numbing took over. After the first few days of use, when skin had a chance to heal and it was no longer irritated or damaged, the burning decreases and then disappears (at least it did for me). I reapply a few times a day at the same time I do clean up and reapply the Vulva Balm. The ability to spray while the bottle is upside down is delightfully helpful. Starting to feel like myself again, pre-diagnoses, which is fabulous.

Numbing life saving
I just ordered this again for my second delivery because it worked so well the first time around. This stuff works even better than dermoplast for numbing, though I used them together for extra comfort.

Worth it! 10/10 recommend to any postpartum ladies
This was honestly my best friend for postpartum healing. It helped me get through the pain directly after delivery and I didn't need to even use it very often. It was easy to use and super convenient, I would say it's better than dermaplast for pain, but the dermaplast was still good to have for the healing itch of the stitches.

Helpful, but not my primary product for pain
Helpful overall, but I found it more helpful to spray this on top of my witch hazel pads or ice pack pads and put those on to sit. I got more relieve directly sprayed on from my dermoplast spray. I like that this sprays well upside down.

Great for C Section!
I ended up using this on my C section incision. Worked great! Really takes the edge off the pain, and I hope they never change the formula. Now Im keeping it on hand in the first aid kit for injuries.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE
This is THE SPRAY to get for postpartum. I’m telling you. Even after my 2nd born I used it (I had a c section with him) it has WAY better ingredients than the numbing spray they give you at the hospital. It has healing and calming ingredients along with the numbing. Ingredients I can understand and are okay to use on our footer cat! I came across this BY RANDOM. I wish more moms knew about this stuff. AND IT IS CHEAP. I’d buy this for double the price lol. It lasts FOREVER. One bottle, TWO BIRTHS! And I used it even after i didn’t need it like that. I used it during that period of time when you start to do the deed again. I had a pretty bad tear etc. it wasn’t too fun for me. Even now, years later there are times when I get irritated again. This spray saves me EVERYTIME. I also use their herbal only spray too (after pain subsides). There isn’t a smell. Unlike the stuff at the hospital that smells like aerosol bc IT IS! Anyway this is one of the top products I tell new moms to get!
