Template takes work but they're great labels once you get there!
The template does work but is not perfect, as many have noted. I was trying to import images which are difficult to maneuver in Word anyhow, but I printed several test pages (hold them up to the light at a window behind your sticker sheet) and finally got them all aligned. I will buy more-- these are for my business and are definitely more cost effective than buying commercial tooth stickers. Labels seem to have adequate "stickiness".

It's okay
As the 3-star indicator says: "It's okay". I encountered 2 problems with this item:1. After 3 passes through my laser printer (I was testing alignment), the heat from the laser printer actually caused the paper to turn to an "old book" faded yellow look. In my case I was printing in the full area of the label, but if you want a pristine white look it will be marred by this. My bubble jet printer had no problem with this as it does not generate heat like my laser printer.2. The template is not perfectly accurate. I had a difficult time lining up my images, and I did confirm in both my laser and bubble jet printers that they were off in the same manner. I compensated by printing 1-4 images at a time, and then manually editing the layout for the next images to correct the amount that the last image was off. Yes, it was a pain and yes there were several test runs to get a "good print" of each dot label that I needed. If you are trying to print "full color" images that fill the entire half inch label (as I was trying to do) then this product does not work so well. I rated the product as "it's okay" because I never found any other product that sells a printable half inch label with a template. In other words, it is much better than nothing.Overall I'd say the average of the entire sheet is about 95% accurate in filling the labels. I realize 5% of white space that was not printed does not sound that bad, but it sure wasn't pretty when your intention is a full color dot label.

Best value! Lines up perfectly in LaserJet!
PHOTOS: you'll see my labels are not perfect--the circles printed on the white and green--that was before I learned to change the circle color to cyan. I have not learned to turn off printing of objects yet in Word 2010. The red and yellow sheets have the circles printed in cyan color--you'll see that you can't really see the circles for those--a little bit on the yellow ones.I don't see any reason for them not to last, if wipe my tools off as I work with them and not slather oil on the tops, I believe these labels save a lot of money compared to all the others, and I can customize and print only labels that I need.I love these labels. The alignment is perfect in Word printed on my HP LaserJet Pro 400. When you create your labels, you have to save it as a .docx if you open it in Word 2010, else the whole document becomes corrupted. Then, the problem with .docx becomes that the circles will print. I don't know yet how to tell it not to print them. So, then I needed to select each circle in the template and change it to have a line style color of cyan. That faded it well enough on my printer. Blue is the faintest color and very light on a printer. I will revise this review if I find out how to hide the circles completely.I made my list of oils that I needed, one for each color, before I typed them in template files. I made the list in a Word file and sorted each of the five lists with Word sort so that I would type them on the template alphabetically. Then I typed them into a copy of the template file, one by one. To get multiple rows of the same labels, I had to copy the labels one by one, *text* *only,* from cell to cell. I wanted to be safe, and not risk ruining the perfect alignment. {Tip: You need to show paragraph marks (the big backwards "P" in the Home tab toolbar should be toggled on). You do not want to select anything but the text when you go to copy, and when you paste should just see the "I" beam in the place where you want to place the text, with nothing selected.}Also, I changed the Normal style as follows: I changed the font to Arial Narrow 9 pt . I changed the paragraph line height to Single, rather than 1.15.

but I was not happy with how that looked
I purchased these labels to put on the tops of my essential oil bottles. I received an email from the company before my order even arrived with the template. I spent time making all the labels, but when I printed it out, it was uneven. I tried several different times, and nothing was centered or lined up. It was very disappointing. They did fit perfectly on the bottle caps, so I tried hand writing them, but I was not happy with how that looked. I ended up purchasing preprinted labels from the oil company. I will keep these to use for future use at a garage sale.

Not bad for the only product out there...
These labels are of good quality- not super thin and so far, seem to stick well. I used these to price items packaged in plastic jars and metal tins. As with other reviews, the template and and stickers didn't match up perfectly. As a newbie to the labeling world, I'm finding that if you want to utilize the entire label, especially circles, that is going to be a problem when printing from home. For these labels I just typed a price and vendor number for each sticker so being a little off to me was far better than hand writing. I used a laser printer for my stickers and they did well.

The labels are perfect for the essential oil bottles
The labels are perfect for the essential oil bottles. I never could get the file to line up and print correctly on the labels so I just hand write on them. Still works, but an inconvenience. They are a great label though.

Bogus template
The template provided comes in the form of a pdf, So I could not select rows or columns to place my desired image in all of the circles... instead I had to make my OWN template and even then I still had to insert the image I wanted in to each and every tiny circle. VERY ANNOYING. I wanted a real editable template- not a picture of one.

What Template?!?!
No template as many people have mentioned, but it sounds like I would have been disappointed even if I had received one. LoL The labels aren't great, would have loved an easy to use accurate template, but I guess I will have to make do. The stars are really for their use of the AbilityFirst Buisness services. As someone who is unable to work due to disabilities it actually means something to me, and deserves credit.

use in my craft room
I am able to colour these labels with the various colours of inks I have and then use them on the reinker bottle making it easy to see the actual colour of the ink
