A long but accurate review
I've had these buttons for a few months now so feel I can give an accurate review. I knit of babies and young children. Sets of jackets/ cardigans and hats for both Charity, Friends/ Family and to sell. With no habidasheries in our area anymore I was finding it hard to source, good quality, affordeable buttons so had to look online. I liked the look of the wooden buttons as they looked attractive, subtantial in quality and could match with any coloured yarn. I was gifted a small packet as a trial from a friend who was starting out but they had too many problems for me to use them in a set id sold. The edges were not sanded properly and not smooth, they were not thick enough to withstand constant washing and toddlers rough play and the colours of the print bled during each wash and I knew would fade too much to last. I then looked on Amazon and saw these buttons, read the reviews and thought id give them a try. There are 3 sizes 15mm,20mm and 25mm. I use the 15 and 20mm mostly. They come in a decent quality container to hold them which stops you having to hunt through your button box for matching buttons. The 15mm buttons I use for young babies items for any sets made with Double Knit Yarn. The 20mm I use for my knitted aran sets and the 25mm are for older children/Teens knits. I tend to use 4 or 5 buttons on the actual cardigan/ jackets,1 on the hat as an embellishment and then 1 spare I sew inside the jacket. These are very good quality buttons. They are smooth,( no rough edges and uniform in size order. They are sturdy, not flimsy and are all of a similar natural shade. They have been very popular amongst all my customers and give a lovely finish to any shade of set. No more hunting for a matching or complimenting colour of button. The reason why I held off doing my review or using them on the items id sold was because I wasn't sure whether the print would last in the wash,as id seen some reviews saying they bled to almost nothing after a wash. When I'm selling a set I've spent hours knitting, used excellent quality yarn and customers have paid out for I don't want my reputation ruined by usng poor quality buttons. I know that with wooden buttons with a print on there will be some fade over time with constant washing ( babies and childrens knits especially) and most mums nowadays don't have time to do gentle hand washes, they need their garments to be able to be thrown in the washing machine. So that's exactly what I did with these buttons. I knitted samples attached buttons and washed some swatches in a 30degree wash and the others on a 40 degree wash. I did this for a month but didn't tumble dry as I always advise my customers for their items to last and look as good as new they can't be tumble dried. So hence buttons the same. The swatches washed on 30 degree were still fine at the end of the month whilst those at 40 degree did show a lot of fade. I now feel confident in giving away my knits in a little organza bag with a tumble dryer sheet to keep them fresh and a note with washing instructions to get the most wear out of their knits and buttons to wash at 30 degrees and to not tumle dry. Sorry for the long post but I wanted to give an accurate review so people knew what they were paying for. I've now bought another box and will keep using these. To be delivered to your door with a good amount of quality buttons at such a low price cannot be beaten.

Beautiful, natural, prevents waste
Love that these are wooden and was the first thing the recipients commented on when receiving the knits. The 3 sizes give enough choice for most knits - the smallest are about the size of a 5pence piece so ideal for the smaller baby knits. Because of the larger number it saved me time trying to find suitable buttons in a shop/from button box and being left with the odd one if pack of 6 but only needing 5. Will be buying more when I get through these!

Lovely wee buttons in various sizes. Printing on some of the buttons was very faded.

Excellent
Buttons came as described and in a box that can be stored, so you can see what buttons you have. I like the three different sizes they come in and look great on the little aran cardigan I have just finished.
