This cup is handwash only, understandable because of the liquid in the base. Very easy to clean, however, I just use water in it so I don't really have to give it a deep clean. If you were to drink like that chocolate milk that you mix up yourself, it might be a little hard to clean out of it, but not very hard. The amount of liquid you can put in it, is pretty small, that's why I just use it for water at night. Would be a good glass for a child to drink out of, because it is a pretty thick plastic. I love seeing the penguins float around when I drink.
