I love these! Pros: -They are so much more gentle on my hair. I’ve used them exclusively since I bought them months ago, and a few days ago, I tried using one of the “regular” elastic kind. Let me tell you...I couldn’t believe how much it ripped my hair! I am noticing way less broke hairs around my hairline, which is either attributed to these, the silk pillowcase I bought, or both. - They hold my hair snug without having to be pulled super tight, so I don’t end up with a sore scalp after a long day. -They can be restored to their original shape once they stretch out by blasting them with a hair dryer on hot or dropping them in very hot water, so I’m not constantly tossing stretched out ponytails. -They’re more forgiving when they ARE stretched out. -They make my ponytail appear thicker. Cons: -They’re not particularly aesthetically pleasing. They’re coil-shaped, so naturally, you see the coil around the base of your ponytail. If you’re going for sleek/fashionable, these might not be a 5-star option for you. I’m more function over form when using these. -They do stretch out, and fairly quickly. That said, they still work well while stretched out and when I get sick of one being super stretched out, I drop it in hot water or blast it with the hairdryer and it’s shape is restored within seconds. -They’re high priced. I’ve been using the same 3-piece set I bought many months ago and they’re still holding up, but I do get paranoid about losing them and having to replace them. -Once in awhile, my hair will catch in one of the little coil sections such that it creates a funky bump or isolates a small strand of hair from the rest. This is usually remedies by re-doing the ponytail. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase. In fact, I have since purchased a black set (I originally bought clear). I haven’t used them yet, but I certainly will! I plan to get a brown set to match my hair as well. I’m curious whether the coil will still be equally as noticeable when using the brown set.

I really like these hair ties. They stretch out but then they go back. They don’t stay stretched out like most other hair ties. I have pretty thick hair.

These are nice, the price is a bit much for what it is in my opinion. I had never used anything like these, they remind me of the key ring spiral bracelets. The biggest difference is they are not springy like that keychain. This arrived, I got the small ones which are perfect. They looked too small actually, but are quite perfect. I have long thick wavy hair that reaches to the bottom of my back bra strap. I was looking for an alternative to elastic hair ties that break and stretch out and pull my hair. These really do work. I've noticed less hair loss when they come out of my hair. They can be shrunk back to shape with hot air or water. I've honestly only had the best luck with hot, HOT water from a coffee carafe. Middle of the road hot water shrinks them but not all the way back to their original size. This is fine for me because even "steched out" from use they still hold my hair in place until I'm ready to shrink it back to size, It just doesn't wear well on my wrist for later use once stretched out. They don't leave strange marks in my hair which is shocking given their shape. I will be buying more, but shopping around to find the best value for my money.

I had recently bought some off brand hair bands that are similar to these, when putting the off brand ones in my hair I noticed huge bumps left behind when I went to take them out. (I have very thick long hair) This worried me as I had only bought them while waiting for these 'Invisibobble' hair bands to arrive in the mail. What a game changer though! I have used them on separate occasions, to work, around the house doing chores, and on a 5 mile hike- so needless to say I gave them a chance and put them through the ringer. When taking them out (each time) I noticed that these didn't leave a bump behind! There was a little more waviness to my hair, but after brushing it out it went back to normal. These WORK!!! I can even get a high pony tail in! Also keep in mind that yes, they're so small! But they STRETCH. I'm able to do about four loops to get a tight hold, and it's not so tight that it gives me a headache either. When you're done and take them out- they will be HUGE. This is when you get some very hot (but not boiling) water and place them in it. They shrink right back to size! I read that using a hair drier works too but haven't tried that yet. But no more over stretched regular hair bands! I truly love these and will buy more if they break.

Recently bought these after I listened to a the Breaking Beauty Podcast (ep. 19) which interviews the founder of invisibobble. Loved her story (got the idea in college, started the brand with <$10k, and made it on the coveted 30 under 30 list) and decided I needed to try these! They come in a tiny box (at least smaller than I expected) with 3 “invisibobbles”. They are very small but stretch well and I can tie around my hair 3 times easily, which is average for me with a normal hair tie. I really like the invisibobble and am fully converted from my usual hair ties on a day-to-day basis. They don’t crease or catch in my hair, and more importantly, I don’t have to constantly be pulling my hair tighter in my ponytail/messy bun.... total WIN! There is one CON however: When I want a tight, slick back pony or a topknot, I can’t use these. I find that they don’t hold my hair up tight enough for either of these hair styles. I also would probably not want to use these to secure the end of a braid, however I have not tried that yet, so can’t say for certain (they also have the nano size which might solve this issue) Overall, I love the invisibobble and will keep using and I believe they will cause wayyyy less damage to my hair! Pro tip: placing your used invisibobble in a cup of warm water will get it to retract back to original size of it starts to stretch out!

These are fine. I have wavy/curly, thin hair so I always have trouble finding a hair band that will stay put. These may be SLIGHTLY tighter than a normal scrunchy but not nearly as tight as a normal hair band. I have to wrap it 3 times to get it to stay put more than an hour but then I feel as though it's too tight and damaging my hair even though it's also loosening and starts slipping out. My biggest complaint is they snag badly on my hair when I take them out. In the product commercial video it shows the girl sliding it out easily and smoothly from her straight hair but for me, even when my hair is straight, it snags and causes breakage so I have to take it out one twist at a time. Also, when taking it out and untwisting the invisibobble, sometimes the twisted cord parts get stuck together and twisted weirdly so it gets stuck in hair and causes a little knot of hair stuck to the hair band. It's hard to explain but it causes knots and breakage. I still use it occasionally but I've pretty much already stopped using these after just a few weeks. Silk/satin scrunchies work better for me. But these do return to their shape nicely after a few minutes if left alone or after a few seconds if you put them under a blow dryer. So they don't stretch out and I can imagine they will last a very long time.

I like the product. Just wished it was all one color.

Im Gegensatz zu anderen Haargummis, die sich im Laufe der Zeit ausdehnen und an Elastizität verlieren, behalten invisibobble Haargummis ihre Form und Elastizität auch nach längerem Gebrauch bei. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf von invisibobble Haargummis und würde sie jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem Haargummi ist, der stark genug ist, um die Haare zusammenzuhalten, aber sanft genug, um sie nicht zu beschädigen.

La marca es muy buena, regresan a su forma original después de dejarlas algunas horas y no maltratan el cabello. Lo único negativo es el precio, se pueden encontrar por menos de la mitad en un autoservicio como La Comer o Chedraui Selecto.

Todes sabemos ya el uso de estos coleteros... Tengo poco que añadir más allá de que son muy bonitos de ver y agarran el pelo genial, estiran muchísimo y vuelven sin problema a su forma original si no los usas por mucho tiempo. La verdad es que, si pillas una buena oferta, están muy bien. No obstante, por suprecio original creo que hay otros en el mercado que cumplen funciones similares siendo más baratos.
