Vittoria Universal Tubeless Tire Sealant - Ammonia Free Sealant for All Bikes - 8.5 FL Oz - 250ml

The photos show two different holes in the process of sealing themselves. - I have Vittoria Corsa N.XT 30mm tubeless on my road bike. I generally ride long distances over city and country roads, so I swapped my earlier tubed setup for tubeless with the vittoria inserts about 6 months ago. Since then I have never had to call for a ride or repair a flat on the side of the road, something I really hated when it happened 50 mi from home... After about 4 to 6 months the fluid needs to be replaced. I picked up a piece of metal wire in my rear tire that would not seal any more. I decided to unmount the tire and remove the wire from the inside, and clean out the old fluid at the same time. With the N.XT and the inserts it is a pain to get the tire off the rim, but once you figure it out, it can be done. Use the tools from Vittoria: they are a big help in compressing the foam insert so that you can break the seal and get a lever under the tire bead. The N.XTs are a very tight fit on my wheels. Once I got the tire open, I wiped out the old fluid with a paper towel, pulled the wire out and pumped air back in with my pump. Then I added 30 ml of fluid through the valve stem, replace the valve and brought it up to pressure. The tire sealed itself right away and I am looking forward to another 6 months of trouble free riding.

Best sealant for higher pressure road tires. It stops big leaks fast, but if you use a syringe, you better be quick squirting it in the valve.

Very good sealant. I would put it up against any of the more popular brands such as Stan’s or Orange , always sealed. Others have let me down at the worst times

I ordered this sealant because my tire had a slow leak and I had to add air every other day. Once I added this sealant, my tires have not gone low even a little bit. I definitely will be ordering this again for my next set of tires.

Sealed road bike tire on a tubeless wheel need an injector to make a messless job.

Works perfectly

Have gone through a variety of sealants. Was settled on orange seal for a long time but (at least back then) their solvent would accelerate the galvanic corrosion at the alloy-nipple/steel spoke interface resulting in broken nipples. Tried STANS and some budget friendly brands but they just didn't seal that well. Vittoria does not use ammonia as a solvent and contains a fair amount of solid debris (fibers, glitter). On a MTB tire they seal anything less than 1 cm. On a road tire, I have never had a puncture that I could HEAR spraying sealant actually seal. Possibly smaller punctures that I didn't notice sealed. The only downside is that the solid bits, which of course help sealing, will clog your valve faster than just pure sealant. So you should clean it out relatively often or it makes inflating a chore.

This product would have probably gotten 5 stars if my Vittoria tubulars had removable presta valves but no. This is an important thing to know I would think. They advertise this sealant as able to work with all tires. Amazon kindly refunded my purchase.

MTBのタイヤホイールに使ってます。 まだパンクはしてないので、パンクに対する性能は分からない タイヤとホイールの機密性の維持はちゃんとしている。 注入はバルブコア外して、ボトルのキャップからダイレクトに入れれるのも便利だと思う。

コットンタイヤなので指定のコレを使っているが、乾くのがあまりにも早い。パンクは何度か修復してくれたが、乾きが早すぎバルブがすぐに詰まりエアが入らなくなる。

バルブコアツールが付いてないので返品

以前大容量のものを使っていたが、経年劣化が進むようで、必要な性能が確保できなくなり使い切るのが困難であった。 少量の製品は単価が高く、大容量なら総額が高いので、そのバランスを考慮してこちらを購入。 性能は名前通り一流メーカーである認識を裏切らないもので満足です。
