A: You don't avoid it, You use a spatula to scrape the smushed potatoes at the bottom of the press into your bowl along with the rest of the potatoes.

A: Hello, the diameter of holes are 0.3mm. You can make delicious mashed food with this ricer.

A: I love this ricer used it for potato to make gnoche.

**Q: Can you put the whole potato with peel in the ricer?**
A: It is most effective and efficient if peel is remove...can suggest to cut potato in half so as not to strain your wrist hand when you mash using the ricer.

Makes the most incredible texture for any potato! If you're not a fan of or unable to peel potatoes, you can still use this - you'll just need to scrape out the skins within the mechanism after every press (I used a silicone spatula and it worked great). Can keep the potato skins/excess potatoes and fry them up for a different dish! If you're serious about delicious mashed potatoes this is a must-have.
