This is a good boot
I love the boot, and this brand this is my 2nd pair, but my 2nd pair is wear and tear pretty fast and I had my first pair for 2 years. So this is really a good shoe I'm talking with someone now about why my shoe is wearing out so fast.

These take a while to break in.
These boots are of really good quality. The waterproofing is great. They are pretty rigid to wear at first. It takes a while for them to break in. The Reinforced toe is a little short on the pinky toe side. The press in the middle of that toe. That took a while to get used to. The heels and ankle support are tight and there isn't a lot of movement so it rubbed for a while, again it took a little while to get used to. They run short, I usually wear a 11.5 size but had to return them and get the 12 to fit the length correctly. Overall I really am happy with these boots.

Great boots
Very lightweight very durable rugged takes a beating and keeps on going and they are waterproof and they are very comfortable highly recommend these boots the only boots I will ever buy again after 8 months of light wear the right boot got a big split in it now itโs junk and I canโt get a replacement this the second pair that has done this first pair i just over looked it but I will nerver buy another pair of Carhartt boots cost way too much money and can not even get a year Walmart boots can give you 6 months at $60 in cost instead of paying $180 wow what a rip off Carhartt has really really went down hill

Waterproof, strong, reliable and tight to your feet.
I honestly think these boots are very strong, like you can feel your feet and ankles secured by the hard materials around them. For me that is good because I work on uneven ground. I once felt in a hole by accident and sprain my ankle a little, but thanks to these boots i didn't break my foot and ankle, because I felt with my ass right on top of my foot dead weight (210 pounds). I felt my foot twisting but the boot prevented my foot from bending to the the breaking point, so I recovered from my injury fairly quick considering the circumstances. I know the boots are not the most comfortable ones, but they keep my feet safe and for me, safety is first. They don't slip on wet floors, good to work in muddy areas, easy to clean. In hot conditions my feet are not overheating and in cold weather they keep my feet warm if temperatures are not less than 28ยฐ F. I guess that is usually normal wearing just a pair of sucks. The cons In my opinion, the boots are difficult to putting them on and taking them off. I wish they have a zipper on the side to make it easier, but that is just in my case, you might have no problems with that. Just saying. Also, I noticed I have to wear long sucks or else put my pants inside the sleeve of the boots because otherwise my legs will get scratched and my skin gets sore out, and besides it has a nice smooth material inside, the seems can scratch your legs and that is not good when you work in dusty or dirty or muddy environments. That can lead to an infection on your skin not desired. Overall, I will recommend this boots when it comes to reliability, endurance and waterproofing your feet, also the ergonomics. They look nice and easy to clean and I got them for a fair price. I don't think I would have paid more than that to be exact, but remember, the first time you put them on they will feel like kind of tight a little, but it is just because they are new, once you wear them a couple of times they will losen up and you will be fine. Safety first! ๐ ๐

Fits a little big but keeps feet dye
Have only had a couple of months. But they have done the job well. I drive truck in the oil and gas feild. I am in mud snow water and in and out of the truck. So far they have been water proof in the snow and in 3 to 4 inches of water for a short time. My feet have stayed dry except for the sweat from being in the truck they are kinda warm. But not warm if your going to be outside for a period of time i would suggest a warm pare of socks. As for fit i got the extra wide size and they are kinda big wich don't happen very often but it nice for the extra pare of socks

Carhartt quality as expected.
They are steel toe and run true to size with my Justin boots. I ordered a size larger and they were too big, so if you wear Justin order the same size. Beautiful boots and great grain with no imperfections in the leather. Nicely designed to blend from leather to the abrasion resistance. Tread on sole has great grooves and is not soft enough I would worry about gravel or sharp corners of metal work or traction sections of heavy equipment.

Cheap toe surgery
If youโre trying to surgically remove 60% of your toes on a budget then this is the perfect product for you! Your feet will be numb in about 5 minutes and Iโd give it about 2-3 hours before your toes start falling off. In all seriousness, Iโve bought almost all of my work boots for 12 years through carhartt and just recently started working in a shop where water is regularly being sprayed everywhere. 10.5 wide fits like a glove on me for all of their boots up until this one. I only wore them for 20-25 minutes on my way to work and I HAD to take them off while I was driving lest I suffer any further from the stranglehold these boots put on your toes. No, Iโm not going to order the same boot 4 sizes larger through Amazon, play tag on finding the right size when all it takes is the boot engineer to figure out his head from his butt. Build it right if you want to keep getting my money carhartt. I work to pay for this crap, you should too my guy.

t have to do too much walking it is going to be ok and very comfortable. The heal counter is molded for extra strength
These boots aren't meant for walking. I probably should have stuck to a mud well. Everything Carhartt mentions about the boots is true. As long as you don;t have to do too much walking it is going to be ok and very comfortable. The heal counter is molded for extra strength, which is true. Unfortunately in the inside there is a seam which cut through my heel and forced me to limp for several days. I ended up using a Dr. Scholls insert which solved the problem. I ordered the wide size to have some room for my toes, but it is still not enough. There is no way I can use wool socks with these boots. In the rest of the shoe it is quite roomy, but just not enough toe space. Maybe a bigger size, not the wide version, but the regular would've been better.

Great boots, long break-in period, may fit slightly small
A very nice boot. Not your -40 sort of winter work boot, but great for most winter work. The tread is very grippy, for sure footing. They do seem to fit a little small, I take a size 13 in most lace-up style workboots. I also have a pair of Justin slip on work boots, size 13, which fit better. I did like the fact that there was a size 13 Medium width available, as most companies just have a wide width for everything over size 11. I have narrow feet. However, for these boots, a 14M would have fit me better. The fit itself does take some getting used to. I wore them for two hours when I first got them, and developed blisters on both sides of my right ankle, about 2 1/2 inches above your heel, where the ankle gets small. These boots have a sort of heel strap that squeezes your ankle to stop your heel from slipping up every time you take a step. You can see it in the picture, its the top part of the black piece on the heel that has 'Carhartt' written on it. This feature works well once you get used to it, but may have a long break-in period. I usually have no issues with blisters when wearing new boots.
