If it is doctor formulated why does it contain GMO soy?

I just see soybean oil, it doesn’t say gmo , or non gmo. Might want to email the manufacturer. Either way it’s not a main ingredient so I’m sure the amount of actual soybean oil isn’t a lot.

How does this compare to IBgard ?

It is superior to IB Gard for me. But I use IBSolution because it works better for me.

Has anyone gotten sick after taking this? About 1-2 hours after ingestion, I'd get horrible stomach or bowel cramps.

Occasionally - I think peppermint can help symptoms of some types of IBS, however it can worsen GERD/dyspepsia. I have gastric reflux whether I use these or not, unfortunately a lot of thing I like also aggravate the condition, including pepper, caffeine, citrus fruits, chocolate, and alcohol. I think it helps my IBS symptoms however, so I opt for the enteric coated products like this one. Based on my experience and some reviews I’m not sure the enteric coating is 100% effective, you can feel it in your throat sometimes, maybe a function of how acidic your stomach is at the time.
