Since the locations for mounting these are almost always limited, it’s tough to find a spot that registers the actual engine temperature, so if you have to use a cooler part of the hose or radiator, it’s great to be able to compensate with a lower temperature fan switch.
Review: Seems to be very good so far - The last switch I had (different company) lasted for over a year (maybe 2). I believe these shouldn't wear out for a decade or two so that leaves me waiting. The accuracy of the switch is very important to me as I run two and have two settings on my electric fans. These are about as close as I could expect them to be for their open and closed circuit settings. If the settings don't start having a mind of their own and they continue to live...I'll install these in all of my projects. I love to build the cars and trucks that I do...I hate to find out the weak links via upset customers.

Bought the same thing (another brand), didn't work. This works great. Put this in 302 Mustang 1965, electric Fan and Water pump. This unit is controlling the Water pump. I recommend it.
