Miracle-Gro 1001791 Water Soluble Azalea, Camellia, Rhododendron Plant Food, 5 lb, Brown/A

I've seen how my azaleas grow without this (poorly), and I've seen how they grow when I use it—the difference is amazing. This stuff works! Within a couple of weeks of the first feeding each season, they put out a lot of new growth. I use it every 1-2 weeks all through the summer, and they continue to put out new growth at a noticeable rate until I start tapering off the feedings in August. The first summer I used it, some of my small azaleas had a 50% increase in size. Still some are in a poor growing location, and while they didn't put on as much growth as the others, they still increased in size significantly. I also use it on my camellias, gardenias, and hollies with noticeable greening-up of the gardenia bushes. I only put about 1/4 of the bag into my hose feeder, and it lasts through feeding of all 20-25 shrubs. I do it every 1-2 weeks throughout the spring & summer.

I simply toss this material down at the base of a camelia then spray water so it dissolves and sinks in. The sprinklers then over time work it down further. Within days, at most a week, there is fresh growth, fresh light, bright green leaves. It is obviously attributable to the product. One puts it down after the flowering of the winter. We had renovations and the sprinkler system was hit and miss as electricity was cut on and off. The camelias suffered. But this stuff has brought them back. A couple of bushes will need to have branches cut off, but I am happy to see the very old and healthy bushes coming back to life.

The price is a bit expensive for me, but it's a good brand. Package is intact and fast delivery, but the downside was that they droped the box on the street of my front porch, they very should drop inside my fence at least. Good thing I checked my delivery process and found it on the street, otherwise. The delivery man didn't do his job properly.

See immediate results on my newly planted climbing roses. The new main canes grow so well after applying it. This one (NPK30/10/10) costs twice than the miracle gro general version (NPK24/8/16). A little bit overprice.
