Absolutely loved mine.. used it for 1 month shy of 3 years and now it died..I payed 29.00 for mine in June of 2023 and now it's 66.00 ..I came here to buy another one and sad to say I'm going with another brand that is 29.00 so we'll find out soon enough.. yes for those reading this review the product worked great.. for those with a cost thought you'll have to listen to your own heart.. aloha

The system is much more versatile in its use and movement than the main line vacuum sealer, but of course if you have a non-reusable bag, you have to go with the main sealers. For dry food, the resealable bags are great but not for "wet" food. The charging is easy and if you get containers it makes using them much easier. If you're doing a lot of sealing, you'll be better off with the main system, but for most daily uses of saving food after a meal, it's quite nice and worth the cost. The unit sits in its own charger but takes up very little counter space and that's also a plus.

This is the second food saver handheld mini that I have purchased and it failed immediately. The first one failed as well, but not as quickly. Too bad because the concept is wonderful.

convenient and works well with the right bags

I have a full size high-end food saver as well as a pressure tank sealer, but I wanted something small and compact and portable that I could just keep on the counter and just use on the go whenever I wanted. This device, while very small, packs a punch and has excellent suction and does a great job at removing air from the bags. I highly recommend using this with the reusable foodsaver bags that have the hard black seal that you can press into and remove air. Those are exceptional. But again I highly recommend this.

This food sealer works well…until it doesn’t. The first one I bought lasted a few years until it simply stopped vacuum sealing one day. I triedrecharging it, to no avail. Unfortunately, I was left with 15 chicken breasts, hot off the grill, that I had planned on freezing later. I figured I just got a bad sealer so I bought another identical one which quit after a year or two. Now I’m on the hunt for a different vacuum sealer with hopefully more lasting power. In my opinion, this just isn’t worth the high price tag.
