LAVA syrup is the ONLY one to come close to a smooth and balanced OF-not overly sweet or overly spiced.. My only complaint is that it is, perhaps, slightly heavy on the 'cherry' flavor --yet the orange oils come thru nicely on the finish. And the added bonus---LAVA is less expensive --by 1/2!

Absolutely love this Lava old fashioned mix.

First of all, I absolutely love this Old Fashioned syrup. It is really flavorful, easy to use, and the hint of maraschino cherries is fantastic. Don't forget to shake your bottle because the best stuff settles in the bottle. Speaking of bottle, that's where I have my gripe. Recently, shipping has become an issue. This last order arrived via USPS rather than amazon and was completely broken, with all the liquid drained, and (most depressingly) not eligible for refund or replacement even though I tried to lodge that complaint the same day I received it! I'll order again, but fingers crossed the shipment issues stop.
