What is the typical coverage area for 1 gallon?** A: I used it to seal rocks on my pool waterfall and used a small brush because I didn't want overspray in my pool and I wanted to be sure that I didn't miss any spots. This sealant is very watery and I believe it says you may use a pump sprayer. I believe it would work in a handheld garden sprayer because it is a very thin watery substance. I don't have the instructions but you can go to their website and read the product specifications. I'm not sure how far the gallon would go but I put 2 coats on my waterfall and covered all the natural stone around my pool coping and still had 10-12 ounces left. I have a salt water pool, my husband talked with a company representative and recommended this product. I've been pleased with the results so far. Also, this product does not have any sheen to it and did not change the color or appearance of the stone, which is exactly what I wanted. Long lasting too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My go-to sealer for my chimney *by S***A on 26 March 2025* Years ago, I used Thompson water sealer. The product changed over time; was milky and waxy when applied. I tried this product instead and have used it twice. The first time was for my chimney, which would leak when hit with high winds and driving rain. It sealed superbly; no leaks *at all*, ever. Then I purchased more to seal a concrete pad, and some touch up the chimney just in case. It's very easy to apply with a simple pump sprayer and performs exactly as advertised.
