Why doesn’t it say sun protection on the packaging?

Because it blocks the sun and keeps it off of your head.

Is the lime closer to the thumbnail or the “Nike Volt” color in the larger images?

I had ordered the black color, so i am not sure. sorry

Has anyone used this with a cpap mask to keep top tubing from slipping on a bald head?

I can't answer that question. All I've been aware of is fellow ballplayers. It holds my hat on.

can you use this inside a swim cap?

Don't know why you would, but anything is possible. The issue may be that it allows the swim cap to slip/slide off the head.
